Picture Yourself

BeautyEveryday, we are bombarded with “picture-perfect” people on television, the internet, and in magazines.  Every where you look, you see models that are absolutely gorgeous to the eye.  Flipping channels, you see advertisements for facial creams, liposuction, miracle “diet” pills, and the like. Is it any wonder why people have such a low self-esteem of themselves?

When we compare ourselves to others, we tend to see just our flaws. But what if you could picture yourself in a completely different light? Would it impact your life?

We have been specifically told that we are made a little lower than the angels, and that God crowned us with glory and honor. (Psalm 8:5)

Being God’s child, you are beautiful in His eyes.  You are made in God’s own image. (Gen. 1:26)   He has given you talents, skills, and wisdom that is unique and all your own.  No one else can compare to you. You are a MASTERPIECE! (Ephesians 2:10)  You are ROYALTY! (Rev. 1:6)

Instead of seeing all the so-called flaws, see yourself being surrounded in God’s amazing favor and glory. When you walk into a job interview or a business meeting, see yourself surrounded in God’s anointing.  See yourself having insight like no other person.  See yourself getting the job or the promotion.  God already crowned you; you have his incredible favor.

Crowned

So, the next time you feel yourself getting depressed on the way you look or about something you feel you are lacking; remember that you are wonderfully made in God’s image.  Every hair is counted on your head and He ensures you have what you need, when you need it, and you are GORGEOUS in His eyes!  His favor, glory, and honor surrounds you every where you go!

Walk tall and shine brightly.  For when you walk into the room, the atmosphere changes for the better because God’s glory is upon you!

Asking for the Right Thing

DecisionsWhen you have a problem, do you constantly think about it? Let’s take money for an example.  If you’re way over your head and can’t pay the bills, do you find yourself crying to sleep?  Are you so stressed out that you can’t think straight?  Do you constantly think about ways to make more money?  Do you find yourself begging God for help?

Whatever the case may be, we are given a great example of what we can do.  Let’s turn to 1 Kings 3:9-14 and take a look.

When King David died, his son, Solomon took over the throne.  Solomon was extremely young and had huge shoes to fill.  He was inexperienced and wasn’t sure how to make wise decisions.

Knowing that he needed help, he made a burnt offering to God.  The Lord came to Solomon in a dream and said, “Ask what I shall give you.” (1 Kings 3:5)  Solomon asked for the wisdom to have an understanding mind, a hearing heart to judge correctly and to be able to discern between good and bad.

Solomon could have asked for absolutely anything.  He could have asked for riches, wealth, and honor. But, he didn’t.  He asked for WISDOM.  God was so pleased with Solomon’s request, that not only did Solomon receive wisdom, but he also received riches, wealth, honor, and long days of life.

Think of it this way.  If God blessed you with a million dollars and you had no clue how to use the funds correctly; you’d find the money slipping through your fingers quicker than water.  Then, you’d be right back to square one.  God doesn’t want to see this happen to you.  He wants you to enjoy His blessings.

So, the next time you find yourself in a situation, start by asking for the right thing…WISDOM!  By doing so, God will not only provide you with His amazing wisdom, but, He will also add many wonderful things along with it.  Before you know it, you’ll be experiencing GOOD SUCCESS, AMAZING RESULTS, and PROSPERITY, in every area of your life.

God Always Has Something For You

Suddenly

There are absolutely no limitations to what God can do for you.  We know that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6) And, that we hold life and death in our tongues. (Proverbs 18:21)  So what are you saying about your life?  Are you complaining?  Are you moping?  Are you discouraged?

God Loves You 2

When you don’t see a way out of your current situation, the best thing you can do is LOOK UP.  For one touch from God can miraculously change your whole situation.  In a heartbeat, you can go from broke to more than enough.  In a blink of an eye, you could be at the right place, at the right time to meet the right person.

God has you covered.  Within His promises, we know that Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly. (John 10:10)  He doesn’t want you to miss any opportunities or be in lack in any area of your life.  He wants the absolute best for you!

So, when you feel pain within your body, do you confirm your healing by saying, “by His stripes I am healed”?  When you are lacking in an area of your life, do you say, “God supplies all my needs”?  What about when fear and stress is wearing you down?  Are you telling fear that it has no place in your life because “God did not make you with a spirit of fear”?

Whatever it is you are facing today, God’s miraculous solutions can cause a sudden change.  So instead of letting limitations rule your mind, body, or soul…take heart and let God handle it.

There is absolutely nothing we can do to make things change nor can we do anything to earn it.  It is solely by God’s amazing grace (His unmerited favor) that changes our lives for His glory.  It is a free gift from God. (James 1:17)

So, the next time you feel overwhelmed or something is missing in your life…REMEMBER…YOU ARE A CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH GOD!  WALK CONFIDENTLY in the midst of your storm, COME BOLDLY to the Throne Room of God, and EXPECT HIS MIRACULOUS SOLUTIONS!  One small touch from our Loving Father can, and will, change your life suddenly.

BELIEVE IT – RECEIVE IT – EXPECT IT!

All Things are Possible

Desperation

Feeling DownGod doesn’t work on our time schedule nor does He do things our way.  A really good example of this is someone going to the casino.  When someone is desperate, it is so easy for them to think that by going to the casino, they could pray to God and expect a miracle to happen.

However, this couldn’t be further from the truth.  God is not mocked. (Galatians 6:7)  He knows that the person is trying to get Him to do something that is not according to His will.  If God didn’t guide you to go, then, God is not obligated to make things happen.

See, when we try to take things into our own hands, we think of a lot of ways to “try” and make things happen.  The problem with this thinking is that we are to “cast all our cares upon Him”. (1 Peter 5:7)  So, when we take things into our own hands, it is like telling God that we can handle the problem ourselves.  And, God being the gentleman He is lets us “try” to take care of it.

Unfortunately, we find that most of the time, things don’t go according to plan.  In fact, we find that the very things we are trying to fix get worse.  This is when we desperately cry out to God asking the “Why” questions.  A lot of times we even start to get angry with God when it wasn’t His fault; it was ours.

God wants us to have the absolute best; a life filled abundantly.  However, He does have a stipulation.  He wants to be in FIRST PLACE; leaning on Him for all things.  He wants us to love Him, seek Him, and get to know Him in a very intimate way.  Then, and only then, you will find yourself prospering in all areas of life.  You won’t have to “try” to make things happen; they just will. (Matthew 6:33)

Drowning

We serve a supernatural God.  It takes one small move from Him to change your life around in the most amazing ways.  So, the next time you have a problem; don’t “try” to solve it on your own.  Instead, immediately give it to God for His amazing transformation.  His ways are much higher than our own, so don’t limit His ability to provide for you nor how long it should take.  It will come when you least expect it and in a way that you would never have imagined.  And, when it comes, there won’t be any question to WHO provided it.

SO REJOICE!

NO MATTER WHAT YOU FACE, GOD HAS YOU COVERED!
