The Hustle and Bustle

As Christmas comes closer with each passing day
Stop the shopping madness; see the season’s precious way
With all of its glitter and bright displays,
Just stop for a moment and let your heart show the way.

It’s easy to get stressed and begin to fray
Stop for a breather and remember His way
Rushing to and fro and all about
Stop for a moment to remember what it’s about.

It’s not about presents, trees or even mistletoe
It’s time to remember and forget all your woes
For in Matthew and Luke, it explains it all
The birth of our Lord the angels did call.

His name is Jesus and Emmanuel
Meaning God is with us so hear the beautiful bells
For our Lord was born on this amazing day
In a lowly ol’ manger and a very humble way.

For all to see the star was shining bright
So the wise men followed the incredible light
Filled with ecstatic joy and gifts to honor
For the Child was born for the Glory of the Father.

So, when you are spending time with your friends and family
Take a moment of pause from the intense vanity
For when you do, your heart will be overjoyed
For on this wonderful day, God gave us His Baby Boy!

Everlasting Rock ~ Jehovah

worthyJehovah or Yahweh is one of the most fantastic names of our Heavenly Father and really speaks volumes when you grasp the full meaning.

Psalm 83:18 “That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.”

When you read that, what does it mean to you?

None of us are too familiar with calling God as “Jehovah” or “Yahweh”. We know Him as Lord, Father, Jesus…but “Jehovah”…not too much.

There is much meaning behind this name. God specifically tells us that there is no other God before Him. He sits high above all and will not be changed or compromised in any way. It simply means He is eternal and self-Existent. God didn’t have to create man, He chose to. He wanted to have a real, life-changing relationship with each one of us. Throughout history, you see many Gods being idolized. From the very beginning, God told us He is a jealous God and we are to bow to no other God but Him.

Isaiah 45:…20“Gather yourselves and come; Draw near together, you fugitives of the nations; They have no knowledge, Who carry about their wooden idol And pray to a god who cannot save. 21“Declare and set forth your case; Indeed, let them consult together. Who has announced this from of old? Who has long since declared it? Is it not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides Me, A righteous God and a Savior; There is none except Me. 22“Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God, and there is no other.…

God is unchangeable…He is the same yesterday, today and forever.blessed is the man

Isaiah 26:…3“The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You. 4“Trust in the LORD forever, For in GOD the LORD, we have an everlasting Rock.

Isaiah 12: 1Then you will say on that day, “I will give thanks to You, O LORD; For although You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, And You comfort me. 2“Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the LORD GOD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.” 3Therefore you will joyously draw water From the springs of salvation.…

God wants to be everything to you. Just as in Job 29:4, God wants to be your friend who watches over you, protects you, strengthens you, comforts you and always be there for you. There is no other God that could ever save you. He is your salvation.

So as you go about your week, give thanks to our Lord Jehovah and remember that He is always there for you. Talk with Him about everything going on in your life and listen to His still small voice for He will guide your path to the greatness He wants for you. Praise His Name above all others for He will give you the desires of your heart and much success is in your very near future.

All Mighty God – El Shaddai

I am a firm believer that there are no coincidences and it’s God alone that guides our way. God’s name –  El Shaddai has great meaning and impact in our lives.

Almighty-God-Restored-Me

The first occurrence of El Shaddai is in Gen. 17:1 when God is giving Abraham the sign of His covenant with him. “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, ‘I am the Sovereign God.’”

In Jacob’s farewell address in Gen. 49:25 Jacob makes a connection between the title of El Shaddai and the promises of blessings of the breast and womb, which is a word play between Shaddai and shad (breast). “…because of the Sovereign God, who will bless you with blessings from the sky above, blessings from the deep that lies below, and blessings of the breasts and womb.

El Shaddai is such a powerful title of our Loving Father. The meaning of El Shaddai speaks of power and strength. It also refers to God completely nourishing, satisfying and supplying His people with all their needs as a mother would her child. God freely gives us all good things because He is our sustainer.

God wants us all complete, whole and restored…fully with nothing missing and nothing broken!!! So when you are faced with the un-faceable things of this world…SURRENDER IT TO HIM and REMEMBER…GOD IS ALL POWERFUL, ALL LOVING, and IS THE CREATOR OF THIS UNIVERSE. Nothing is too hard for Him! He freely gives to those who love Him, to those who trust Him and to those who are willing to surrender to Him!

This week I ask all of you to Surrender to Him ~ Walk in faith ~ Talk with God ~ And Walk Boldly Everyday! He will see you through your darkest hours and you will be prosperous in every area of your life! His name guarantees it and what He does for one, He will do for all!

Every Day Blessings

Waking UpWhen you wake up in the morning, how do you look upon your day?  Are you stressed with all the things you need to accomplish or do you wake up and say THANK YOU LORD, I’m excited about what you have in store for me today?

However you see your day begin is the kind of day you will encounter.  If you start your day with thanksgiving, no matter what happens to you, you will be able to easily overcome the pressures and stresses.  But, if you begin your day thinking o’ man, here we go again…it dramatically effects your outcome.

See, when you can look back over the years and see God’s goodness and blessings, you can be positive that they will continue. You will be able to know that all is well, no matter what you see in the natural. God works in mysterious ways and you never see His blessings coming towards you until they hit you over the head.  That’s His amazing grace upon you.  There is nothing you can do to earn His grace; it is a free gift from Him.  Once you accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, you received God’s forgiveness of sins, as well as, His free gift of Grace. (Ephesians 2:4-8)Today is a Gift

By your willingness to trust, listen, and surrender to Him; brings the blessings to you unexpectedly.  They are never early and never late. They always seem to come at the very last minute which takes a lot of faith on your part; knowing that He will provide whatever it is you need, at the very moment you need it.

So, embrace and thank Him for His amazing grace that is bolting towards you. Thank Him for helping you in those dark moments when you can’t see a way out.  And, thank Him for His blessings that will continue to run you down and over take you.

He is the Alpha and Omega. (Revelation 1:8)  Nothing is too hard or impossible for Him! (Luke 1:37)  For He created you exactly the way you are and knows every strand of hair on your head.  So, be positive and confident in all your ways.  There is no telling what God will bring if you start knowing that every day is a blessing for something amazing to happen!
