Tis the Season to Shine Brightly

With all the hustle and bustle of the Christmas Season, it is easy to get lost and bogged down in all the trappings. With the emphasis of buying the right gifts, putting up decorations, and having family gatherings; there is no wonder why so many people become stressed, worried, and exhausted at this time of the year. They find themselves filled with depression, grief, and sorrow. Some may even have thoughts of suicide, from the feelings of being all alone. If they are having financial difficulties, it compounds the whole “gift giving” pressure ten-fold. So, how can we help our fellow man?

Spread the true reason for the season by sharing God’s amazing love. God has given every single one of us a unique skill or talent. Maybe you love painting, baking, couponing, music or maybe you are a talented financial wizard or organizer that gets things done. Maybe you have a bubbly personality that is infectious. Whatever your talent, God can use it in the most remarkable ways to shed a glimmer of hope upon someone else.

Proverbs 16:24 says that “pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the mind and healing to the body.” Just by a small act of kindness, saying hello with a smile, could mean the world of difference to someone battling depression. Holding a door open could show an act of kindness. You never know what kind of day that person has had or the thoughts they are thinking; you just might be their only glimpse of love.

God wants us all to shine our lights brightly towards others. We are blessed to be a blessing. It doesn’t matter how small the act is…what matters is the impact on the other side. God will always use your talents for the right person, in the exact moment it is needed. God knows what that person is going through and what they desperately need. By allowing Him to use you in these small acts of kindness, He will make the most incredible impact on their lives.

Always remember that “it is more blessed to give than to receive”. (Acts 20:13) There is absolutely nothing more rewarding than a heart filled with the excitement of knowing you touched someone today. You just might be their only glimpse of hope in a very dark world.

So, SHINE YOUR LIGHT on all those you come in contact with today. For you just might start the most amazing chain of events that impacts them so deeply; that their life will never be the same.

God Is Awesome

Everyone has struggled so much, over the course of these past years. However, God is starting to move and shake in people’s lives. God’s amazing grace is coming upon us quickly and things are starting to shift into our favor.

What used to be a struggle, God’s incredible hand is making the burden lighter. What used to be impossible, we are now seeing that all things are possible to whom believes. What used to be lack, is now becoming abundant.

We don’t have to struggle any more. We don’t have to accept the mundane and status quo. We don’t have to accept lack or poverty. God is more than enough to handle all the things we need, not just some times, but all the time.

God is AWESOME and He loves you. More than you could ever imagine. Quit trying to make things happen by doing it yourself. Just let it go and give Him control. For when you do, there is absolutely nothing that He won’t do for you, His beloved child. The shift is here! Embrace it and let God be God in your life.

Father…May those who read this posting, be blessed beyond measure. Help them let go of any control which allows You Lord, to take over. Fill their lives with peace that surpasses all understanding.

Never Too Late

If you’re like most, we tend to wait until we are in the deepest, darkest pits of our lives before we cry out to God. It’s in these moments that we have exhausted all our efforts and don’t see a way out. Whether it’s years of pain and suffering that has brought us to this place or an unforeseen tragedy; we all go through difficulties within our lives that can take the very breathe from us; leaving us feeling desperate and alone.

It is in times like these that we need to reassess our lives. We may not understand why things happen or what we could have possibly done to deserve the terrible experience, but we all seek the answers that are not always readily available. We all face an unseen adversary. It’s not that we deserve anything bad to happen nor have we’ve done anything to deserve it; it is simply the adversary trying to keep you in a deep, dark pit and overwhelmed. The adversary wants to keep you exactly where you are, feeling low and in despair.

When we find ourselves in these moments, the absolute best thing we could do is cry out to God for help. He wants to heal our pain and suffering. He wants to prosper us. He wants to restore the time lost. He wants to restore failed relationships. He wants to restore all the lost opportunities.

God is an all-seeing, all-knowing Father who has the answer to all of our problems. Don’t waste another moment by allowing the adversary to keep you down and out. Speak up and let your voice be heard by the one and only Creator, who wants to heal you completely; physically, mentally, spiritually, financially, and make you whole while filling you with such incredible peace in the midst of your storm. So, don’t waste another moment. Cry out to God for your healing and restoration. It’s never too late because He’s waiting to hear from you, His beloved child. Cry out and watch His amazing, incredible, and miraculous solutions come upon you. For you are never alone, He promises to always be there.

In The Right Frame Of Mind

In your daily activities, do you take in all that’s happening around you? When you’re busy cleaning house, working in the yard, or doing laundry; do you get caught up in getting everything done or do you take moments to realize that, even in the smallest things, you are blessed?

See, even when you are doing something mundane as the laundry, instead of feeling like you hate doing it, there are many things to feel blessed about. Things like having clothes in the first place, helping others have clean clothes to wear, and being thankful that you have detergent to use.

When you take these small moments, it really helps you put things into the right prospective. Sure, they can feel mundane. But, what if you didn’t have these things in the first place? How would your life be different? Would you find yourself wanting or feeling like you are lacking something?

We all allow ourselves to FEEL. Feelings can be wonderful. Yet, they can also be joy and peace robbers. When we get caught up in the mundane tasks of daily living, we can begin to feel stressed, worried, or even, overwhelmed.

God sees things differently than we do and He wants us to enjoy all of His creations. It is simply, up to us, to realize the amazing blessings He has already provided. So, the next time you walk outside and hear a bird singing, thank God for being able to walk and hear. When you are working in the yard and a bee buzzes your head, thank God that the bee helps keep other pests away and helps flowers germinate. When you are out shopping and the item you want is on sale and you didn’t expect it, thank God for helping you save money.

Make the most of every day. God knows exactly what you need and He has you covered. So, the next time you have tons of things to do, stop and thank Him for His help. You’ll be absolutely amazed at how much you can get accomplished, in a very short amount of time. But, the most amazing part is, God doesn’t stop there. He’ll also energize you so much that You’ll have energy to spare.

So, start thanking Him today, for all the blessings that come your way.
