How Big Can You Dream?

WildernessCan you see the beauty that surrounds you everyday? The stars. The mountains. The ever-changing clouds. The oceans and rivers. The plants and animals. Millions of species that we don’t even know the names of. It is absolutely breathtaking when you stop to think about it. But what about people? There are billions of people in this world and most of them go about their day, just hoping to get by. They settle for much less and hope for the rest.

Did you know that the Bible tells us that God knew and approved of you before you were even born? (Jeremiah 1:5) He had a specific plan created just for you. There is no one like you. There is no one with the special talents God gave you. No one has the same plan. You were magnificently designed by the Creator of the Universe. How AWESOME is that?

No matter where you come from. No matter who your parents are. No matter what neighborhood you lived in. No matter where you went to school. No matter what you have encountered so far in your life…none of it determines your destiny.

God has the most incredible future in store for you.

  • If you need a job…God wants you to have an awesome job that you love, with benefits galore.
  • If you need a place to live, God doesn’t want just a roof over your head…He wants a fantastic home for you, that you can be proud of.
  • If your finances have dried up, God doesn’t just want you to get by…He wants you to have more than enough so you can be a blessing to others.
  • If you need healing, God doesn’t just want you to be healed in a specific area…He wants you completely whole and well!

That’s the incredible God we serve!

No matter what we can think or imagine…God wants us to have even more. No matter what we face…God already has the solution. God knows every hair on your head and you are more valuable to Him than you realize. There’s no need to be worried or afraid! (Luke 12:7)

God is Taking Care of You

His ways are higher than ours! His creativity surpasses anything we could think! His solutions are far beyond our imagination! Dream BIG and He dreams BIGGER! Ask for much and He gives more! That was, is, and forever will be our Heavenly Father!

Now go out and be everything that God wants you to be. It will be far greater than anything you can imagine because we serve an amazing God who created the entire universe! AND HE SAYS you are a talented, creative, gifted, loving person with a very special purpose that HE WILL MAKE HAPPEN!

Are You Salty?

popcornHow do people react around you? When you walk into work, a store, or a gathering…do people gravitate towards you or do you feel like you’re being avoided?

Many “Christians” have a difficult time socializing with others; especially non-believers. They have a difficult time engaging people of the world and they never feel like they fit in. Some people may have tattoos, some people may use profanity, some people may look different, some people just don’t want to hear about God. So, how are you to remain salty in a dark world?

When we can engage people on their own terms, they’ll feel kindness. When we can accept them for who they are, they’ll feel like you aren’t judging them. The best thing you can do is just be kind to everyone that crosses your path. We were all sinners once and someone accepted you just as you were. Jesus died for you. He didn’t judge you. He didn’t tell you to change before he would accept you. NO…all you had to do was accept Him and immediately you became part of His family.

Think about it this way…

When you eat popcorn, the salt makes you incredibly thirsty. When people come across your path, would they become thirsty for whatever it is you have? Are they seeing a kind, caring, loving, giving individual?

We are the salt of the Earth! But why?

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” (Acts 26:18)

Salt and light irritates darkness. Salt fights corruption. Salt is flavor. We don’t have to go around quoting the Bible. We don’t have to go around correcting people or being condescending. NO…We just need to engage people on their level. Talk with them. Make them feel special. That is how we can be an influence without having a “Holier than Thou” attitude.

You may be the only “Bible” people see or read. They will watch your actions. They will watch what you say or do under pressure. They will watch how you react towards someone different than you. Just be authentic and real, in everyday situations. Engage all the different people as if they are your long lost relative that you are happy to see.

Before you know it, they will want to know your secret. They will want to know how you can be peaceful and content in the middle of your chaos. God will open the door for you to tell your testimony and touch their lives in a way they never experienced before.

Simply do what you say and say what you mean. Do things with a smile. Accomplish your tasks with a pep in your step and you will begin to see your saltiness shine through! God’s grace will overcome the darkness, pain, and suffering of that individual, but you will need to just love them right where they are!

So…SMILE AND BE SALTY TODAY! You never know who God will bring across your path so that they can see HIS AMAZING LOVE FLOW THROUGH YOU!

Conquer Fear and Claim Your Blessings

Don't be afraidWhen you look around these days, everything seems to be going crazy. Terror in various places, countries on the brink of collapse, wars and rumor of wars, demonstrations, health epidemics, fires raging, volcanoes; just to name a few. It is very easy to become fearful or begin to wonder what is going to happen to you or your family.

Well…I have GREAT NEWS for you today! YOU ARE PROTECTED BY ALMIGHTY GOD!

 “Evil can’t get close to you, harm can’t get through the door. He ordered his angels to guard you wherever you go.” (Psalm 91:10-11)

When you feel overwhelmed, just claim this truth. When you feel fear creeping in, tell it to go for it has no place in your life. God has made it a point to protect you. There is absolutely no weapon that can be formed against you that God won’t handle on your behalf. God absolutely loves you and will do everything to protect you. Whether that is in your finances, your family, your business, your comings and goings…whatever “it” is that is trying to attack you…YOU ARE PROTECTED!

But does God stop there? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Fill our barns with great harvest, fill our fields with huge flocks; Protect us from invasion and exile – eliminate the crime in our streets.” (Psalm 144:13-14)

See, our God is so loving that He doesn’t just want to protect you from any evil…He wants to eliminate the crime and see you prosper in every area of your life. He wants you to be so blessed that you can’t help but be a blessing to someone else. He wants you blessed in the field, blessed in the city, blessed in your finances, blessed in your business, blessed in your family, blessed in your health…blessed…blessed…blessed!

There is absolutely nothing that can happen to you for God is right there with you, every step of the way. He will never fail you and He will always know the best way to provide whatever it is you need; even before you know yourself. For He knows the end from the beginning.

SO WALK BOLDLY TODAY AND PRAISE HIS MIGHTY NAME! GOD IS BIG ENOUGH TO HANDLE ANYTHING THROWN YOUR WAY!

Defeat Your Giants

Whether it’s in their health, finances, family relationships, friendships, employment, or a vast list of other areas, or even a combination of many; we are all battling giants right now.

But did you know that your victory is closer than you think? Do you realize that when you are close to your turnaround and God’s blessings are coming towards you…warfare heats up.

Ephesians 6:12: For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 6:11: Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

The closer your victory gets, the worse things are going to become. The devil is going to throw everything he can against you. Everything that bothers you will intensify. Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. It’s just his way of trying to get you to give up and fail. He doesn’t want you to see God’s blessings. He doesn’t want to hear you recite God’s word. He doesn’t want you to be successful!

Let’s make the devil angry today!

  • When things go crazy…Pray!
  • When everything is going wrong…Trust and Believe in God!
  • When circumstances are overwhelming…Speak God’s Word over them!
  • When you see no way out…Speak to your giant mountain and proclaim victory in advance!

Stand your ground!

God’s Word is final. You may not see a way, but God has a way. It may not look like you’re winning right now, but you will. There is absolutely nothing impossible with God. He can turn any situation around in a blink of any eye. So get ready…your giants have already been defeated and your life is about to become bigger and better than ever before!

Deuteronomy 20:4: For the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.

YOU WIN! THE VICTORY IS YOURS!

Just hold on for you serve an AWESOME GOD!
