Build Your Faith

Feed Your FaithEvery day is a chance to see God work in us and work through us. Whether you need healing in your body, soul, mind, relationships, business, ministry, finances or family; God is with us every step of the way. Throughout the Bible, He has shown us time and time again that nothing is impossible with Him. He is willing and able to heal every area of our lives. We don’t have to wonder when or fear that it will ever happen.

Isaiah 41:10: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

It is so important to continuously build our faith. By spending time alone with Him every day, reading the Bible to seek His wisdom and knowledge, and making your needs known to Him through prayer along with thanksgiving for His answers should be all part of our daily lives.

When you disconnect from the your daily distractions and spend time alone with God, you’ll find yourself more peaceful and knowing what path to take. God will make sure to guide your footsteps and restore your soul.

The more time you spend with God, the more you begin to know Him. Your life will begin to change and reflect into His image, into His ways, into His amazing truth. Nothing will be missing and nothing will be broken. God is our everything. He will make sure to take care of the massive big problems you face as well as all the teeny tiny ones. Your life will change beyond anything you could have ever imagined and your life will be an incredible testament to God’s love. He was, is, and will always be everything you need.

Patience Grasshopper

Have you ever found yourself wanting something to happen right now, but it seems to take longer than expected?

Well, I sure have. We live in a world of instant gratification. Just take a quick look around and you’ll see fast food restaurants, drive-thru pharmacies, quick remedies for weight loss and the “quick draw McGraw” of news…the internet. Isn’t it amazing how addicted we are to instant things? It really becomes prevalent when you have to wait in a checkout line at the grocery store and you realize just how impatient you are to get out of there; even if you don’t have anywhere else to go.

When time is of the essence and you have absolutely no understanding of what is happening; the most important thing you can do is have PATIENCE! It is certainly one of the hardest lessons to learn. Yet, it is one of the most crucial in your daily walk with God.

Here’s why…In James 1:2-4, God is very specific why we must learn patience.

“Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.  Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.  But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfectly and fully developed, lacking in nothing.”

In other words, God is telling us that we should rejoice in difficult situations, knowing that God tests our faith to bring out patience. During trials, all kinds of junk are brought to the surface. Things like anger, rebellion, self-pity, complaining and pride. It is so important to deal with this stuff so that God can take us to the next level.

So, let’s put it in a step-by-step process:

  1. Trials come and we face all the “icky” stuff
  2. This in turns helps us develop Patience
  3. Patience helps us develop Endurance
  4. Endurance creates a mature character
  5. A mature character brings us to absolutely nothing lacking within our lives.

Let’s face it…most of us have absolutely no clue what God is up to when He calls us. But one thing for certain is that He knows the end from the beginning. Ecclesiastes 7:8 reminds us, “Better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and the patience in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” And Galatians 6:9 tells us, “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

So, I don’t know about you but the ending sure sounds better than the beginning. It doesn’t matter how long we have to wait, it is far more rewarding to wait on the Lord’s timing because His timing is perfect and the outcome will exceed all of our expectations.

You Are Protected

God will make a wayWith so many threats of evilness surrounding us today, it is very easy to get caught up in the “what ifs” of fear. Just flipping through television channels or the internet can scare the wits out of you. Nothing but panic can settle in your mind when you see reports of bombings, shootings and all of the unrest throughout the world. It’s no wonder why people are sick from the stress, pain, and fear of it all.

But, did you know that the greatest army of all time defends and protects you constantly? When you accepted Jesus, angels from Heaven began to watch over you. You were given an entire legion of protection.

Psalm 91:11: For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.

Luke 22:43: And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, strengthening him.

God has given His angels charge over you. Every time you speak words of faith, God hears and the angels are released to move on your behalf. Throughout the Bible, we are told about angels providing guidance, strengthening, encouraging, answering prayers, and caring for those who believe.

That’s why it’s so important to speak encouraging words about your own situation. You either open the door for God and His angels to help or you open the door for the enemy. That’s why we are told that the power of life and death are in the tongue. (Proverbs 18:21) It is imperative that no matter what you face, speak God’s word and His promises over the situation. It truly doesn’t matter what you see or feel…what matters is God’s word that will move mountains on your behalf.

Legions of Angels

Don’t miss another moment to see things through God’s eyes. Every time you find yourself in a difficult situation, find scripture that directly reflects towards the issue you are facing. Speak it over and over into your life. God will see that an angel is dispatched on your behalf.

You are always protected. Listen to the small voice within and never forget that you might entertain a stranger that just might be an angel that was sent from Heaven. (Hebrews 13:2)

Believe in the Impossible

This week’s message is very simple. I truly believe that God’s word is final and it never returns void. (Isaiah 55:11) Which basically means that when you speak God’s word over your life, it will accomplish everything that it says.

Now on the flip side of things, I also believe that the devil wants to keep us in strongholds. Whether it is a bad doctor’s report, loss of a job, poverty, depression, addictions or anything in between…he wants us to remain in the chains of bondage.

Well, today we are going to break those strongholds for good! For, It is written, “when two or more agree, it will be done.” (Matthew 18:19) God’s word is final so let’s agree today. Repeat after me…

Father, today, I stand in agreement that Your word is above all else. It doesn’t matter what is going on in my life. It doesn’t matter what things look like or what people think about me. Lord, today I declare that every stronghold in my life, my family’s life and my friend’s lives are broken today. I believe and receive Your completeness and Your wholeness; physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually; in every area of our lives. In Jesus’ mighty name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

Today, is a new day!

Rejoice, for we serve a BIG GOD!

Nothing is impossible for Him! (Luke 1:37)

BELIEVE AND RECEIVE!
