DO YOU KNOW YOUR WORTH?

God has really placed on my heart to share my story again, as most people don’t know. As hard as it is, I know the importance of what I’m about to discuss and we are all at a very critical point in life. Many of you have been fighting and wrestling with your own self-worth. In doing so, you tend to look back over the course of the years and see all the pain, the loss, and the suffering but not your true worth. Let me explain…

As a child, I was sexually abused. It led me to feel worthless and unloved. For so many years, I wrestled with the pain and suffering in a very quiet, lonely manner. In protection of my family, no one was aware of the situation. So I continued to deeply hurt all by myself, weeping silently while the shame and guilt consumed me.

For years afterwards, I felt like I didn’t deserve happiness. So, I dated all the wrong guys, lived well below my talents, lived rebelliously; and quite frankly, just never believed that I could be someone lovable or better than what I was living.

Needless to say, I lived a very self-defeating lifestyle and learned how to push away others when they showed me what real love was. I simply couldn’t understand why they cared about me. I was so broken. I allowed people to hurt me and, in turn, I hurt others as well. Until God showed me differently and I learned what I’m telling you today!

For those of you who have been hurt, abused, shamed or felt neglected and lost…I HAVE GREAT NEWS!

YOU HAVE AN INCREDIBLE WORTH TO GOD AND YOU DESERVE HIS BEST!

Throughout the Bible, God used murderers, prostitutes and very evil men to show His amazing glory. So, no matter what has happened to you in life, no matter what people have said about you, no matter what you think of yourself…God sees someone beautiful and blessed.

Today…I ask you to release all the pain, hurt, anger, frustration and suffering of the past years and look forward to your amazing future that God has for you. (Philippians 3:13-14) Ask Him to restore all that you have lost. (Joel 2:25) Ask Him to fill you with His incredible love. (Ephesians 3:19)

You are a one-of-a-kind. So, be brave and bold; walking out in faith to the most amazing journey of your life. With God, all things are possible (Mark 10:27). So, let go and be truly free! Give Him your cares, worries and doubts. (1 Peter 5:7) Watch Him bring you the most amazing and wonderful life He has in store for you! His amazing grace is upon you and this is going to be your best year ever! Believe it and Receive it! It is your time to shine!

Release and Accept

Let Go (2014_03_10 01_21_18 UTC)Life has a funny way of constantly reminding you of the things you’ve done wrong. You can be in the middle of a fantastic day, when out of nowhere, a reminder of your past comes along. As soon as it pops into your head, you have a choice to make. You can either mull it over and relive it, or you can ask for God’s forgiveness and release it to Him.

No matter who you are, where you came from, or what you’ve done…IT DOES NOT DEFINE YOU NOW! Your past is just that…your past. When you repented and accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, your past no longer exists and He sees your sins no more. (Hebrews 10:17) You don’t have to live in shame, guilt, anger, or regret. Thanks to Jesus’s finished work, you are a new creature in Christ and only the best days are ahead of you.

So the next time a little reminder comes along, stop it in its path. Release whatever it is to God and let Jesus’ rest come upon you. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. Let Him fill you with unspeakable peace that only He can provide. Accept His loving mercy and kindness today.

REPEAT AFTER ME:

Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me so much. Thank you for forgiving me of my sins and making me a new creature. Today, I release all of my past hurts, anger, guilt, shame, and pain. Fill me with your amazing peace as I begin to step forward into the incredible life you have for me. Today, I will walk boldly and confidently knowing that my past is forgiven. Thank you for your mercy and kindness. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.

Now…THANK GOD FOR HIS GOODNESS AND GO HAVE A TREMENDOUS DAY!

Claim God’s Promises

God Always Has Something For YouIt is so easy for us to get caught up in the daily grind. Feeling like there isn’t enough time to get things done. Wondering if things are ever going to change. Knowing deep within that there has to be an easier way. Well, I’ve got GREAT NEWS for you today!

There is an easier way. It’s not what we can do, it’s what Jesus has already done. We just need to understand what that means for us and start claiming it into our lives.

When Jesus paid the price for us, He defeated everything there was that could come against us. But not only that, He opened the door for God’s amazing grace to be available for all those who believe.

Remember why Jesus came in the first place. So that we may have life, and have it to the full, overflowing, and have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)

It doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done. What matters is that Jesus already paid the price. Every written promise in the Bible is available to each one of us. How can I say that? God tells us that the blessings are on the head of the righteous. (Proverbs 10:6) Those who believe in Jesus are the righteous. Because of Him, we are.

When God wanted something done, He spoke it into existence. Isaiah 55:11 – So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.

Every single day, we should be claiming His promises over our lives. Whether it’s fear, pain, lack, depression, finances, or any other area of life, Jesus already provided us the way. All we need to do is find the promises in the Bible that directly relates to our situation and start claiming them.

  • When you feel exhausted and you can’t go on…claim Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.
  • When you feel all alone and no one cares…claim Deuteronomy 31:6 – Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
  • When you feel sick…claim Isaiah 53:5 – …By His stripes we are healed.
  • When your finances have run dry and you see no way out…claim Philippians 4:19 – But my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.

God will provide

According to Biblical scholars, there are over 30,000 promises in the Bible. Do you think God cares about you? Every single written promise is available to you today, and everyday. You’re a child of the Most High God. Start claiming His word today and see His mighty, powerful hand come upon you in ways you could never imagine.

Today is your new beginning!

Act like it…Speak like it…Live like it!

Don’t Give Up

Hold OnEvery where you turn, things are being shaken. The world is changing so fast that most people are unable to keep up with the demands, technology, and family dynamics. Heads spinning while trying to figure out which way to go, why things aren’t happening the way they want, and when in the world are things going to change.

All of us, who have been called, find ourselves struggling. Nothing seems to go right. Nothing seems to be happening. You take one step forward and ten steps back.  But, I’m here to shout with you…HOLD ON!

All of us have been in the small beginnings stage; learning for the journey that lies ahead. God has placed a purpose and dream into your heart. You’ve stepped out in faith, trusting in His guidance.  But, for some reason, it doesn’t appear to be working out.

What we need to realize is that every step taken is a setup, not a setback. When we listen to God’s guidance and step forward, He is watching over every aspect of the purpose and will make sure it comes to pass. No matter what we see or feel, God is the Author and Finisher of our destinies. (Philippians 1:6) He is in charge of the how, why, who and when.

People around you might be mocking. Friends and family members can be pushing you to go in a different direction. People might be leaving your life. However, if God has called you for a specific task…HOLD ON and DON’T LET GO!

  • Keep believing!Hold On 2
  • Keep trusting!
  • Keep pushing through the barriers!

For if you do, God promises that you will not be ashamed, humiliated, or disgraced (Isaiah 54:4).

You just might be one step, one encounter, or one moment away from your dreams coming true. For when God’s perfect timing comes upon you and all the pieces of the puzzle come together, it will be more AMAZING than you ever expected! Job 8:7 says it this way…“And though your beginning was small, your latter days will be very great.”  So, whatever you do…HOLD ON! Your best days are just ahead!
