Defeat Your Giants

Whether it’s in their health, finances, family relationships, friendships, employment, or a vast list of other areas, or even a combination of many; we are all battling giants right now.

But did you know that your victory is closer than you think? Do you realize that when you are close to your turnaround and God’s blessings are coming towards you…warfare heats up.

Ephesians 6:12: For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 6:11: Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

The closer your victory gets, the worse things are going to become. The devil is going to throw everything he can against you. Everything that bothers you will intensify. Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. It’s just his way of trying to get you to give up and fail. He doesn’t want you to see God’s blessings. He doesn’t want to hear you recite God’s word. He doesn’t want you to be successful!

Let’s make the devil angry today!

  • When things go crazy…Pray!
  • When everything is going wrong…Trust and Believe in God!
  • When circumstances are overwhelming…Speak God’s Word over them!
  • When you see no way out…Speak to your giant mountain and proclaim victory in advance!

Stand your ground!

God’s Word is final. You may not see a way, but God has a way. It may not look like you’re winning right now, but you will. There is absolutely nothing impossible with God. He can turn any situation around in a blink of any eye. So get ready…your giants have already been defeated and your life is about to become bigger and better than ever before!

Deuteronomy 20:4: For the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.

YOU WIN! THE VICTORY IS YOURS!

You Are More Than A Conqueror

Jesus shed His blood in seven different places to break every curse and redeem us to every blessing His blood activates. It is a time to remember exactly what Jesus did for each and every one of us. He paid the ultimate sacrifice. He broke every curse. He broke every addiction. He gave us dominion and authority.

  1. In the Garden of Gesthemane: He bought back our willpower and to redeem our will. (Matthew 26:39)
  2. At the Whipping Post: By His stripes we are healed. Every curse of sickness and disease was broken. (1Peter 2:24)
  3. Crown of Thorns: To break the curse of poverty. (Genesis 3:17-18)
  4. In His hands: To restore dominion to the works of our hands. (Deut. 28:12-13)
  5. In His feet: To give us authority everywhere we walk. (Joshua 1:3)
  6. In His side: His was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities and heals our broken hearts. (Luke 4:18)
  7. He stomped on the devil’s forehead and bruised His heel to break every family and generational curse. (Isaiah 53:5)

Take back your God-given blessings that Jesus gave you. When He said “IT IS FINISHED”, he didn’t mean it would be a hit or miss, pie-in-the-sky kind of faith. He returned us to the Father who is there for us every single moment of every day. He gave us everything we needed to make it through any trial, any difficulty, and any situation that comes against us that is contrary to the Word of God!

Take your stand against the enemy. You are more than conqueror through the Blood of Jesus. You are the head and not the tail, above and not below, you are the lender not the borrower. Take back what the devil has stolen and remind him that Jesus’ blood gives you complete victory.

Don’t let another day go by without thanking Jesus for His sacrifice and for the heavenly blessings He has bestowed towards you. Return unto Him and he’ll return unto you. Give and it shall be given to you. Know the seven places Jesus shed His blood and understand why God’s Word is Final! It is because of Jesus that you will have favor with Him and with man. Praise His Name above all others and watch the amazing blessings burst forth into your life.

Today is a new day. Activate the 7 places Jesus shed His blood and He will bring favor upon you. Let God stand in front of you and your family to make every curse pass over your home, business, health, family, and finances. Almighty God will open the windows of Heaven over you and your family which will release the blessings that Jesus’ blood provides. You are more than a conqueror through the Blood of Jesus Christ and today, your life will never be the same. Rejoice for the Lord is good – Your Victory Is At Hand!

Kicking the Habit

End of your ropeIf I asked everyone reading this message to raise their hand if they have ever tried to stop smoking, lose weight, or stop any other habit; how many of you would raise your hand? Now, how many of you would raise your hand if you tried everything possible to stop that habit, only to find yourself worse off than before?

My hand is still raised too. It’s only natural for us to try all the different products and programs on the market that is suppose to help us with kicking the habit. The only problem is that once we have tried everything and we have exhausted all of our efforts; we usually find ourselves going back to the very thing that we worked so hard to quit in the first place. Then we feel like a failure and we become so frustrated that we simply give up, thinking that it will never change.

But, I’m here to tell you there is one sure fire way to kick any habit that is creating havoc in your life and it will be the easiest thing you have ever done. Surrender!

“Are you so foolish and so senseless and so silly? Having begun [your new life spiritually] with the [Holy] Spirit, are you now reaching perfection [by dependence] on the flesh?” (Galatians 3:3)

What happens when YOU try to stop doing something on your own? You become focused on that issue. It becomes all about if I do this or if I do that. And before you know it, you’ve become consumed by the very thing you are trying to quit.

No matter what we try to do – no matter how strong your willpower – no matter how determined you are…things will not completely change unless you surrender it completely to God. Only your creator knows what is happening in your life. Only your creator knows if you have a thyroid problem, a vitamin deficiency, a health issue, or even a deeper pain that needs healing.

Without surrendering the habit to God, the Holy Spirit can not help or lead you to your specific solution. Nor would it be completely healed! Before we can enjoy any real victory, or experience any real change in our behavior, we must learn that only God can change us from the inside. Our focus needs to be on Him!

“Then does He Who supplies you with His marvelous [Holy] Spirit and works powerfully and miraculously among you do so on [the grounds of your doing] or because of your believing in and adhering to and trusting in and relying on Him?” (Galatians 3:5)

God restores health

So, what habit do you need to break? Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and help you overcome the habit. Get into the WORD and see what God says about your situation. Once you start focusing on HIM, that pesky ol’ habit will begin to fade and you may not even recognize that you’re being healed! That’s how AWESOME GOD is!

God wants you healed! He wants you successful! He wants you happy every moment of every day! Let Him take control and heal you from the inside out! You have a wonderful life ahead of you! Just keep your focus on Him and He promises to give you the best of the best! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Today is going to be a great day!

Jolt Yourself

big-teeth-smiley-emoticonWhen things aren’t going your way, then kindly (and gently) slap yourself to wake up and get your attitude back. Say what?!?!?!?!?

Well, I bet I got your attention didn’t I. LOL

Okay, Okay…all kidding aside. What I really mean is sometimes we just need to WAKE UP and JOLT OURSELVES out of the day to day slumber, the stagnation, the chaos and really start prophesying to our lives.

It’s time for new beginnings. You’ve gone through enough and the past is just that…the past! It’s time to get up, brush off and take back what’s been stolen! How do you do that, you might be asking? Great question!

Place yourself in front of a mirror and declare God’s word over your life. Say or yell (if you feel the need)…

  • I’m Going To Live and Not Die.
  • I’m going to share the good works of the Lord.
  • Today I choose Life and Life more abundantly.
  • It’s He who lives in me, is greater than he who is in this world.
  • I will have peace that surpasses all understanding.
  • I have more than enough to spare and share.
  • Today is my day for my turnaround.
  • Today is my day for complete restoration and healing.
  • Today I give my illnesses and addictions an eviction notice as they are trespassing on God’s territory.
  • Today, God is healing my broken heart and replacing sadness with unspeakable joy.
  • God is the Author and Finisher in my life. Whatever He started, He will accomplish through me.
  • I’m more than a conqueror.
  • For me and my house will serve the Lord. All of those lost shall come back to Him.
  • I’m blessed in the city and blessed in the field. God’s favor is exploding in my life.

It’s too easy to get placated in our lives and just continue going with the flow; becoming stagnant along the way. It’s time to jolt ourselves out of the “norm”. You are created for so much more! You are to be the light of the world! And the more you speak to your circumstances with God’s word, the more you’ll find situations turning around in your favor.

The question is…what do you want your year to look like? Do you want to keep going around the same mulberry bush and keep getting the same results…OR…would you rather let God be God and shower you with His amazing grace? Ask yourself…if not today, when? If not you, who? If God is going to bless someone, why not let it be you?

Why don’t you start each day doing things GOD’S WAY and let this year be the greatest year you’ve ever experienced. Talk yourself silly with God’s word. One small touch from God is all it takes! Will you dare to believe that Today is the beginning of your miraculous turnaround?
