No Matter What, God is There

When you find yourself going through a crisis or a loss of some sort, how do you react? Are you filled with pain and anger? Do you find yourself filled with stress and anxiety? Or do you find yourself wondering why God would allow this to happen to you?

From personal experience, my answer was all of the above and then some. When I started to lose everything in the recession, I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs. I felt all alone. The weight of the world upon my shoulders was far more than I could handle.

As I cried out to God, and quite frankly, in not so nice terms; I realized that He had been there all along. No matter how much I struggled, He gave me the strength I needed to get through the day. When I cried, He wrapped His arms around me. As I looked around me and saw nothing good happening, He was protecting me. Throughout all the pain and suffering, He walked with me in the midst of it all. It wasn’t until I went through all the intense feelings of loss that I started to see what I had been missing all along.

As I continued through the process of having to move, seeing my home and car repossessed, and feeling like a huge failure; I started to get a glimpse of what really mattered. My friends surrounded me. My family opened their home to me. God called me into service. It was through my darkest hours, God shined the brightest.

We may not understand the “WHY” of it all. But, I can tell you from my intense journey, that God loves us very much.

No matter what you find yourself going through today, see the amazing goodness that comes from your darkest hour. It could be something as small as a hot cup of coffee, a hug, a helping hand, or being called into God’s service; there will be things that you can be grateful for. Just imagine how grateful you will be when God starts restoring your life in a much bigger way.

God has an amazing life planned out for you and it will come to pass when you least expect it. He is there in the midst of your storm and knows how to help you along the way.

Embrace His goodness. Embrace His love. Embrace His healing. Embrace everything that He has for you. Because it will be far greater than any loss you might be experiencing. He loves you and your future is very bright!

Healing Power

Wounds come from a lot of different places. It could be something from your past. A bad report from the doctor. Something that someone said about you. Maybe you felt rejected by parents or friends. Whatever your wound or wounds might be, you don’t have to live with them any longer.

There are countless stories in the Bible that showed God’s mercy and healing. Every where Jesus went, healing followed. The good news is that God is the same yesterday, today, and the future. So whatever He did then, He will do now.

Matthew 9:35 “And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.”

God wants us free from all pain, suffering, and sorrow. He wants you happy and whole. He wants the absolute best for His children. He wants you prospering in your body, soul, mind, and emotions.

Every wound that ails you have to flee when Jesus is on board. His healing power lives within you through the Holy Spirit. When you feel rejected, guilty, or an ache in your body; say to yourself, “By His stripes I am healed” (Isaiah 53:4-5) and feel the rush of love overtake you. You may not be able to feel your healing immediately, but, don’t get discouraged. Keep standing on His promises because healing has no choice but to come.

So, the next time an old wound attacks you…know that Jesus is in the house and it has no choice but to flee. Be healed, whole, and restored for we serve an AWESOME GOD!

Lost But Not Forgotten

In a society that looks at material possessions as a way to judge people, those that have lost during these difficult times, feel alone and defeated. Their self worth has plummeted to all time lows. When people have lost jobs, homes, cars, and their material possessions; they feel like they have lost their status in the world. Placing them on a tremendous whirlwind spiral down.

I thank God that He sees us differently. While everyone judges by status or titles, we believers have hope. As soon as you accepted Christ into your life, you became a CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH GOD! He doesn’t look at what you have or have not. He doesn’t care what you look like or wear. it doesn’t matter if you are unemployed or not. What matters the most to Him is that you are willing to trust Him enough to know that you haven’t lost anything.

See, God knows what you need. He knows what will make you happy. He knows what is in your heart. He knows how you feel. He knows that you worry about the bills. He knows you need money. He knows you need a roof over your head. He knows everything there is to know about you.

All the things you feel you have lost, are not lost. God knew that all this would happen to you AND He has something better in store for your future. God does not forget what you have gone through. He cares for you desperately and wants to provide for you in the most amazing ways. Let’s see what God has to say about it…

Joel Chapter 2

²⁵ And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

²⁶ And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

So, what are you waiting for? He knows every hair on your head, so what makes you think He can’t restore anything and everything that was taken from you? God is all powerful and all knowing. There is absolutely nothing to hard for Him to handle. Believe and trust in Him, and Him alone. HE WILL RESTORE all that was lost and you will never be put to shame. You are crowned with His glory and no matter what the world thinks about you…YOU ARE ROYALTY!

Grab Your Peace

With all the craziness in the world, is it really surprising that people are so on edge? When you listen to the economy forecasts, it can really dampen your mood and make you uncertain about the future. When you see the turmoil happening throughout the world, it makes you wonder about what is going to happen next. When you hear about viruses plaguing millions of people, you wonder if a vaccine can stop it from spreading. And on, and on, and on.

Everything that is happening really plays havoc with people’s minds and emotions. However, you don’t have to be one of them. As believers, we are given a tremendous blessing that others in the world don’t have…

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27)

Regardless of what is going on around you, you can withstand it because Jesus gives us peace that surpasses all understanding. We may not understand why things are happening, but, we can be content and peaceful while things are swirling around us.

Jesus has already overcome the world. By focusing on Him, all things become possible. Jesus already defeated death, hell, and the grave. He already conquered all sickness and disease. He already defeated all temptations and gave us the power. However, if that wasn’t enough, we have been given another, incredible promise…

As Christ is, so am I in this world. (1 John 4:17)

We are adopted into the Heavenly family. We are heirs with Christ. We are loved by our Heavenly Father who sees Christ when He looks at us. We have all that Jesus has; there is nothing missing or broken about our lives. Whether you can see the answer or not; we already have the answer. Whether you can see your healing or not; you are already healed.

Don’t go by what you can see, feel, or touch. Look at Jesus and all that He already did! No matter what you face, He is the answer. AND, at the right time, you will receive whatever you need.

So, keep your focus and let Him fill you with His peace. For when you do, it won’t matter what happens around you. You’ll remain content and peaceful, knowing that your needs will be met because God will not break His promises. As Christ is, so are we! No need to worry. Stay in peace!

Believe It – Receive It – Act Like It
