Be A Comeback Kid

DefeatEver see the movie Rocky? Rocky Balboa was a kid from the wrong side of the tracks who didn’t have much. All he knew was that he was to be a fighter. Throughout the movie, Rocky would get knocked down, bruised and busted…only to keep getting up to win the fight. He found the love of his life, Adrian. They went through so many disappointments, heartaches, pain and suffering; you wondered how in the world they kept going. Their determination, strength, and love always shined through their difficulties.

Does that sound like your life? Can you relate to that movie? I sure can. My life has been so full of disappointments, heartache, pain and suffering that I look back and wonder…how in the world did I ever keep going.

Today is the day for a declaration! Today is the day that it’s time to stop looking back and to begin looking forward!

It doesn’t matter what has happened to us in the past nor does it matter what we are going through today. What truly matters is that we FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH! (2 Timothy 4:7) Every single time you get knocked down, use it to your advantage. While you’re knocked down, get on your knees and pray. Every single time you feel lost and the pain is so intense, get on your knees and pray.

We have an incredible God who loves us. He never wanted us to go through the difficulties we’ve endured. He never wanted to see us in pain. He never wanted to see us experience heartaches. No…we have an enemy who rules this world right now and wants to kick us down so much that we simply don’t get up. Satan wants to sway you away from God. He wants you to make mistakes that have terrible consequences. He wants you to fail.

Well today we are taking a stand! NO MORE! Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly. (John 10:10) He is our source. He is all powerful. He is all love. He is our provider. He is our healer. He is more than enough to handle any battle that rages against us.

So let’s shout out together…

GET BEHIND ME SATAN BECAUSE I WON’T TAKE ANYMORE! I CHOOSE JESUS AND ALL THAT HE STANDS FOR! He is my answer! He is my strength! And my best days are ahead of me. For God so loved the world, He gave us His only son! Jesus is my brother and I need no other!

So stand up and be counted as a COMEBACK KID! For there is nothing, and I do mean nothing, that God won’t do for His children!

Supernatural Debt Cancellation

Debt1Does debt hold you down, stress you out, and make you feel overwhelmed? Well, you’re not alone. There are so many of us who struggle with debt; especially after the holidays. It just seems like a never-ending battle. You try so hard to either work extra hours, stay on a budget, work an extra job, go without; and yet, nothing seems to budge.

Well guess what…there is AWESOME NEWS TODAY! God wants to help. I know…you are probably sitting there asking why in the world would God be interested in my debt? Here’s why…when we are in debt, struggling to make ends meet, and feeling stressed; we are unable to hear from God or help anyone that He has come across our path. Everything begins to block Him or His word from us. See, God doesn’t want us stressed. He doesn’t want us struggling. He doesn’t want us overwhelmed. Even if it’s a result from our own foolishness, He wants to help each and every one of us. AND YES…that includes your debt.

Think about when Elisha’s prophets were cutting down the trees near Jordan to build a larger meeting place. As one of them was chopping, the iron ax head fell off into the water and he cried, “Master! It was borrowed.” He was heartbroken because he had borrowed the ax and was now in debt to the person he borrowed it from. He now owed that person a new ax. Elisha went over to the water and threw a stick into the spot where the ax head fell. Miraculously, the iron ax head floated to the top of the water where the prophet could pick it up. That shouldn’t have happened. Iron is heavier than water. (2 Kings 6:5-6)

It was a supernatural cancellation of debt. Glory be to God! See, when Jesus went to the cross…He cancelled our debt of sin. With that debt gone, we can freely receive all that God has in store for us. He wants us completely whole and well. So because of Jesus, we can have our debts supernaturally cancelled.

Debt CancellationAre you thinking it can’t happen for you? Well…DON’T. All things are possible for those who believe. He can and He will! God is much bigger than we could ever think or imagine. There is absolutely nothing too big or too hard for Him. If He can create the universe, create you, and everything in between…don’t you think He could do something incredibly awesome for you?

So, let’s all start 2015 out right…

Begin by casting your cares upon the Lord and ask Him for his help. Ask Him to take over every area of your life. Then begin to watch Him do the most amazing, supernatural wonders in your life starting today! He can easily give you the wisdom and the means to clear every debt where you can begin to freely receive and freely give! He wants all of us to be CHEERFUL GIVERS! How can you do that if you have debt hanging over your head? So, why not ask for His help today! 2015 can quickly become the most AMAZING YEAR you’ve ever had!

Rockin It In 2015

Get ReadyDuring the winter, we tend to hibernate. It’s a time of silence, reflection, and preparation. It’s a time when you feel there is a huge stagnation surrounding you and you simply don’t understand why. The only thing you could do was lean on your faith; knowing that somehow, everything was going to work out in your favor. Worry, doubt, and uncertainty likes to creep in during the night that you just can’t seem to shake.

God is getting ready to make a shift in your life and it is going to ROCK YOUR WORLD! You have stood firm on His word. You have stood on your faith. You have kept hopeful against the odds.  And, He is getting ready to do something AWESOME in your life. There is a newness that surrounds you. An anticipation that brews, waiting to bust out and come alive.

Our loving Father hasn’t been silent during these winter months. Noooooo…He saw you standing in faith; hoping that things would get better. He saw all the seeds you were planting into your heart, family, friends, and co-workers. He didn’t miss a thing you did, nor, was it in vain. Our God is a God of seed, time, and harvest!

“And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting
nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap,
if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.” [Galatians 6:9]

Get Ready 2

Doors of opportunity are about to explode open. Your health is about to spring healing. Your relationships are about to become joyful and peaceful. Your finances are about to be restored far more than you could ever imagine. We serve a BIG GOD and He loves to do BIG THINGS for His children. God has been working behind the scenes this entire time to ensure that all things are in His perfect order and timing.

So, all I can say is GET READY for it’s YOUR TIME TO SHINE! Think Big, Dream Big, and know that we serve a BIG GOD! Your BEST DAYS are just ahead! So, Get Ready for the most amazing time of your life. God is READY TO BREATHE IN YOUR DIRECTION and SUDDENLY, ALL THINGS WILL SHIFT INTO YOUR FAVOR!

Your Mess Turned to Message

God is My HopeWars raging. Epidemics spreading. Volcanoes exploding. Persecutions and attacks. Devastation every where you turn these days. People’s lives are in utter chaos and disarray. Heart-breaking and gut-wrenching photos and video, streaming live throughout the world. Reporters losing their emotional battle while attempting to bring us the horrific stories. Instantly, lives are changed and we all feel the impact.

Yet, in their darkest hour, citizens show amazing courage, strength, hope, love, and compassion. With every dramatic scene; another story of heroism emerges. Neighbors, strangers, and first-responders, frantically trying to help those affected. Hoping they can help save one more person.

Everyday, somewhere and in some way, someone is showing the essence of heroism, hope, and encouragement. None of these people are looking for fame. None of them realize their simple act is impacting someone else deeply.

There are countless stories of how teachers keep calm and shielded their precious children. Men and women who have lost everything in a devastating storm can thank God they are alive and have the courage to say “I knew my maker and I had hope in Him. God protected us. We are alive and everything else can be rebuilt.”

Don't Let Go

That is a powerful reminder to us all. No matter what you are facing today, God can make a way. Whatever you have lost, God can rebuild. There is absolutely nothing more important than to know your maker. It is in times like these that we are to show true courage, hope, and faith that in the midst of all the chaos, one small glimpse of hope can make all the difference.

Life is the most precious commodity and everything else can be rebuilt. So today, no matter what you face, allow your light to shine brightly upon others. Because in the midst of all your chaos, “The Lord is good, a Strength and Stronghold in the day of trouble.” (Nahum 1:7)

And, you never know when He will take your mess and create the most BEAUTIFUL MESSAGE for everyone else to see.
