Everlasting Rock ~ Jehovah

worthyJehovah or Yahweh is one of the most fantastic names of our Heavenly Father and really speaks volumes when you grasp the full meaning.

Psalm 83:18 “That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.”

When you read that, what does it mean to you?

None of us are too familiar with calling God as “Jehovah” or “Yahweh”. We know Him as Lord, Father, Jesus…but “Jehovah”…not too much.

There is much meaning behind this name. God specifically tells us that there is no other God before Him. He sits high above all and will not be changed or compromised in any way. It simply means He is eternal and self-Existent. God didn’t have to create man, He chose to. He wanted to have a real, life-changing relationship with each one of us. Throughout history, you see many Gods being idolized. From the very beginning, God told us He is a jealous God and we are to bow to no other God but Him.

Isaiah 45:…20“Gather yourselves and come; Draw near together, you fugitives of the nations; They have no knowledge, Who carry about their wooden idol And pray to a god who cannot save. 21“Declare and set forth your case; Indeed, let them consult together. Who has announced this from of old? Who has long since declared it? Is it not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides Me, A righteous God and a Savior; There is none except Me. 22“Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God, and there is no other.…

God is unchangeable…He is the same yesterday, today and forever.blessed is the man

Isaiah 26:…3“The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You. 4“Trust in the LORD forever, For in GOD the LORD, we have an everlasting Rock.

Isaiah 12: 1Then you will say on that day, “I will give thanks to You, O LORD; For although You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, And You comfort me. 2“Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the LORD GOD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.” 3Therefore you will joyously draw water From the springs of salvation.…

God wants to be everything to you. Just as in Job 29:4, God wants to be your friend who watches over you, protects you, strengthens you, comforts you and always be there for you. There is no other God that could ever save you. He is your salvation.

So as you go about your week, give thanks to our Lord Jehovah and remember that He is always there for you. Talk with Him about everything going on in your life and listen to His still small voice for He will guide your path to the greatness He wants for you. Praise His Name above all others for He will give you the desires of your heart and much success is in your very near future.

Fear Be Gone

Don't be afraidWhen you look around these days, everything seems to be going crazy. Terror in various places, countries on the brink of collapse, wars and rumor of wars, demonstrations, health epidemics, fires raging, volcanoes; just to name a few. It is very easy to become fearful or begin to wonder what is going to happen to you or your family.

Well…I have GREAT NEWS for you today!

YOU ARE PROTECTED BY ALMIGHTY GOD!

 “Evil can’t get close to you, harm can’t get through the door. He ordered his angels to guard you wherever you go.” (Psalm 91:10-11)

When you feel overwhelmed, just claim this truth. When you feel fear creeping in, tell it to go for it has no place in your life. God has made it a point to protect you. There is absolutely no weapon that can be formed against you that God won’t handle on your behalf. God absolutely loves you and will do everything to protect you. Whether that is in your finances, your family, your business, your comings and goings…whatever “it” is that is trying to attack you…YOU ARE PROTECTED!

But does God stop there? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Fill our barns with great harvest, fill our fields with huge flocks; Protect us from invasion and exile – eliminate the crime in our streets.” (Psalm 144:13-14)

See, our God is so loving that He doesn’t just want to protect you from any evil…He wants to eliminate the crime and see you prosper in every area of your life. He wants you to be so blessed that you can’t help but be a blessing to someone else. He wants you blessed in the field, blessed in the city, blessed in your finances, blessed in your business, blessed in your family, blessed in your health…blessed…blessed…blessed!God is with you (2014_03_10 01_21_18 UTC)

So the next time you have a weak moment of doubt or uncertainty, claim God’s amazing truth. There is absolutely nothing that can happen to you for God is right there with you, every step of the way. He will never fail you and He will always know the best way to provide whatever “it” is you need; even before you know yourself. For He knows the end from the beginning.

SO WALK BOLDLY TODAY AND

PRAISE HIS MIGHTY NAME!

GOD IS BIG ENOUGH TO HANDLE ANYTHING THROWN YOUR WAY!

No Limitations

TrustOver the past few weeks, we have learned how to let go and renew our minds. It has been important to re-emphasize how God sees us and how we should see ourselves. The Bible is very specific in showing us that God meets us right where we are; in the midst of our battles, our sins and seeks those who are in need of Him.

Today, we are taking it one step further. With the holidays fast approaching, we tend to get quite busy this time of year. It is a time where many tend to see only problems, lack and inabilities to make things better. We tend to think that we can’t, we don’t have enough skill or money, we can’t make a difference or things are never going to change.

However, we miss the key point. WE SERVE A HUGE GOD! Our God created the universe from darkness. He is all powerful, all knowing, all loving, all caring and a Master Physician to boot. So what in the world do we have to worry about?

There is absolutely nothing we can do to deserve God’s love. He loved us before we were even born. He created us in the womb. He knew everything that we would face in this world and already provided the answers before they even happened. He knows what will happen today, tomorrow and in the future. So, let go of all the things that are holding you back. Let go of anything that no longer serves you. God knows what you need, when you need it and how to get it to you! Trust and believe in Him. He truly has you covered! Period! There are no “if’s”, “ands”, or “buts” about it!

I don’t know about you but I want 2016 to be the most AMAZING YEAR that I ever could encounter. And, in order to do that, we need to be prepared and in the right mindset…

THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO LIMITATIONS WITH GOD!

HE IS ALL WE NEED! See Him for who He is and know that He will bring the most wonderful year to you! There is absolutely nothing impossible to Him so quit stressing and learn to be FREE in God’s loving hands! He is the potter and will mold your life into something more incredible than you ever dreamed.

So, what are you waiting for?

Let go and allow GOD TO BE GOD!

God Loves You

God has really placed on my heart to share my story again, as most people don’t know. As hard as it is, I know the importance of what I’m about to discuss and we are all at a very critical point in life. Many of you have been fighting and wrestling with your own self-worth. In doing so, you tend to look back over the course of the years and see all the pain, the loss, and the suffering but not your true worth. Let me explain…

As a child, I was sexually abused. It led me to feel worthless and unloved. For so many years, I wrestled with the pain and suffering in a very quiet, lonely manner. In protection of my family, no one was aware of the situation. So I continued to deeply hurt all by myself, weeping silently while the shame and guilt consumed me.

For years afterwards, I felt like I didn’t deserve happiness. So, I dated all the wrong guys, lived well below my talents, lived rebelliously; and quite frankly, just never believed that I could be someone lovable or better than what I was living. Needless to say, I lived a very self-defeating lifestyle and learned how to push away others when they showed me what real love was. I simply couldn’t understand why they cared about me. I was broken. I allowed people to hurt me and, in turn, I hurt others as well. Until God called me, showed me how much he loved me and I learned what I’m telling you today!

For those of you who have been hurt, abused, shamed or felt neglected and lost…I HAVE GREAT NEWS!

YOU HAVE AN INCREDIBLE WORTH TO GOD AND YOU DESERVE HIS BEST!

Throughout the Bible, God used murderers, prostitutes and very evil men to show His amazing glory. So, no matter what has happened to you in life, no matter what people have said about you, no matter what you think of yourself…God sees someone beautiful and blessed.

Today…I ask you to release all the pain, hurt, anger, frustration and suffering of the past years and look forward to your amazing future that God has for you. (Philippians 3:13-14) Ask Him to restore all that you have lost. (Joel 2:25) Ask Him to fill you with His incredible love. (Ephesians 3:19)

You are one-of-a-kind. So, be brave and bold; walking out in faith to the most amazing journey of your life. With God, all things are possible (Mark 10:27). So, let go and be truly free! Give Him your cares, worries and doubts. (1 Peter 5:7) Watch Him bring you the most amazing and wonderful life He has in store for you! His amazing grace is upon you, He loves you and this is going to be the most amazing time ever in your life!

Believe it and Receive it! It is your time to shine!
