Picture Yourself

BeautyEveryday, we are bombarded with “picture-perfect” people on television, the internet, and in magazines. Every where you look, you see models that are absolutely gorgeous to the eye. Flipping channels, you see advertisements for facial creams, liposuction, miracle “diet” pills, and the like. Is it any wonder why people have such a low self-esteem of themselves?

When we compare ourselves to others, we tend to see only our flaws. But what if you could picture yourself in a completely different light? Would it impact your life?

We have been specifically told that we are made a little lower than the angels, and that God crowned us with glory and honor. (Psalm 8:5)

Being God’s child, you are beautiful in His eyes. You are made in God’s own image. (Gen. 1:26)  He has given you talents, skills, and wisdom that is unique and all your own. No one else can compare to you. You are a MASTERPIECE! (Ephesians 2:10)  You are ROYALTY! (Rev. 1:6)

Instead of seeing all the so-called flaws, see yourself being surrounded in God’s amazing favor and glory. When you walk into a job interview, a business meeting, classroom, or a any where you go; see yourself surrounded in God’s anointing. See yourself having insight like no other person. See yourself getting the job or the promotion. God already crowned you…You have his incredible favor upon you.

Crowned

So, the next time you feel yourself getting depressed on the way you look or about something you are lacking…remember that you are wonderfully made in God’s image. Every hair is counted on your head and He ensures you have what you need, when you need it, and you are GORGEOUS in His eyes! His favor, glory, and honor surrounds you every where you go!

Walk tall and shine brightly.  For when you walk into the room, the atmosphere changes for the better because God’s glory is upon you!

Back to Basics

back-to-basicsWhat does your Bible say?

My Bible says Jesus walked on water. My Bible says Jesus calmed the storm. My Bible says Jesus rose Lazarus from the dead. My Bible says Jesus fed over 5,000 men, women and children with a child’s snack. My Bible says Jesus is closer than a brother. My Bible says the Holy Spirit is my helper. My Bible says the Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer. My Bible says that God gave us a spirit of power, love, self discipline and a sound mind. My Bible says that God will give you the desires of your heart and make all your plans succeed. My Bible says through His stripes we are healed. My Bible says God’s grace is sufficient. My Bible says seek the Kingdom of God and everything will be added.

God promises good news and prosperity for every believer! God’s Word is solid truth for He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Today I ask that you go back to the basics.

It doesn’t matter what your circumstances say. It doesn’t matter what your bank accounts say. It doesn’t matter what the doctor says or what addiction you might have. It doesn’t matter where you are or where you came from. It doesn’t matter if you feel overwhelmed, afraid or have failed previously.

My Bible says God has an abundant life filled with peace, love, joy and happiness for all those who believe. My Bible says that all things work out for our good. My Bible promises that if we keep standing in faith through the midst of all the storms, we will have victory.

So today we are going back to the basics. No matter what anyone says or thinks, Keep believing. Keep standing on His promises until things begin to change in your life. Because my Bible says perfect love casts out all fear. Ask God for a deep revelation of His love and meditate on His Word constantly. If you just get back to the basics without all the fluff, God will guide you, protect you, love you, show Himself to you, break the fear, heal your pain, guide your path and your life will be greater than ever before.

Accept It ~ Believe It ~ Receive It ~ And Speak It

God is good and worthy to be praised. If you continue to believe and build your faith…

you will see the Glory of God in your life!

Thank Him right now that everything will turn out alright.

Because my Bible says your beginnings may seem little but your latter days will be very great!

cross-victory
