One Heartbeat Away

iStock_000015062038XSmall_DisappointmentValley-sjhIf anyone has been paying attention to the news lately, it has been down right discouraging. The world is plunging into decay and immorality. From all the terror, America’s fast decline, lies and deceit, sexual exploits; it makes you truly wonder what the heck is going on and it certainly makes you scratch your head a bit. Have you found yourself wondering where is God in it all? Is there a purpose that we simply don’t understand? Why is all of this happening?

Well, the more I asked questions and searched for answers…the more I found myself drawn to study prophecies. For over the past few years, I had already read up on everything I could regarding the four blood moons, Israel’s feasts, and the like. With the last one happening in September 2015, along with the Jewish feast and Elul 29, I already knew there is significance to all I’ve seen. After requiring God’s guidance, He led me on an incredible journey. And I don’t mean just skimming the surface of the Bible or Biblical commentaries…I mean, deep and undeniable studies. The more I studied, the more I dove in. There have only been a few times this has ever happened to me where I would lock myself in a room for days and study till I just couldn’t read another word. It was undeniably God’ s hand of guidance and provision. There was something He was trying to get me to see and pass along to others who are willing to listen.

Events seem to be happening quickly and most people are oblivious to it all. Time seems to be passing by and most people are looking at their own lives, stuck on electronics that they think brings them joy; only to be afraid of missing out on something or being left out of the next big thing. However, those that have ears to hear and those that hear be saved! (Mark 4:23-24)

The absolute truth is that most people are missing out on something more important than a text message or a selfie. Something that is coming over the horizon like a sunrise but no one takes a minute to appreciate the sunrise nor the creator of that sunrise.

No matter where we grew up or went to school, no matter what we did in our life before Christ, no matter what we currently do for a profession, no matter where or when we were chosen to follow Christ…we all have a purpose in life. We are all called to be a watchman on the wall. (Ezekiel 33:6) We are all called to be the light of the world. (Matthew 5:14) So, it is of the utmost importance for all those who believe in Christ to understand the times which we live in. It is important for all of us to be strong in His word, be loving to those around us, and reach out with the revelation of knowledge to save all those who are lost before it’s too late.

Within less than a blink of an eye, everything we know and love could vanish. Houses, cars, money, gold, silver, and everything else people strive for will not mean a thing when it happens. What God lead me to discover shocked me to my very core. Nothing else seemed to matter much after it. I couldn’t wait to sit down to write this post because everything is explained in such a way that your soul is moved. You finally “get it” and “the purpose” and “the why”.

Being a watchman on the wall is never easy nor is it ever received very well. But as God says so eloquently in the Bible:

Ezekiel 33:6: But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.

It’s the greatest gift ever to mankind…to spend eternity with Almighty God where there is no pain, no suffering, no sorrow. Your ultimate destination is a choice. What shall you choose?

You Have The Authority

Big GodDo you have problems in your life? Does your body have aches and pain? Feel like you’re running in circles with no way out? Is your life out of control? Have an addiction? Need a miracle?

It is so easy to focus on the difficulties in life. And the more you focus on the problems, the larger they begin to look. The more you feel a pain in your body, the worse it seems to get. The more you try to quit an addiction, the more hold it has on you. Well…Today is your day to take back your authority.

Jesus said in Matthew 28:18 – “…All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me (Jesus).” Well if Jesus was given all authority over everything in heaven and the earth, and if you gave your life to Christ, THEN YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN ALL THE AUTHORITY TOO!

As soon as you gave your life to Jesus Christ, you were given everything He has. He gave you righteousness, healing, love, power of a sound mind, restoration, and riches according to His glory. Everything good comes from God. There is absolutely nothing missing or broken in God’s Kingdom in heaven or earth.

However, Satan is the current ruler of the earth and roams to kill, steal, and destroy. (John 10:10) Satan, the crafty serpent, is trying to do everything he can to keep you in pain, trouble, and difficulties.  He knows that if you get this revelation THAT YOU HAVE ALL AUTHORITY then he knows the next part is coming too…

Luke 10:19: “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.”

Not only do you have the authority and the power over the enemy but you have also been given the Holy Spirit which is your helper and comforter.

John 14:26- “But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

You are never left alone. You have all the help you need. Ask the Holy Spirit for the revelation of your authority through Christ. The more you understand your true inheritance, the more your problems and troubles will disappear for He who lives in you is greater than he who lives in this world! Don’t give the devil one more day to antagonize you. His time is up and you now know the true! Take up your authority today and make the serpent slither away! Your victory is at hand!

God Is All Powerful

Please heed this word of caution…as you start getting this revelation deep within your heart and your troubles start to disappear…DO NOT become boastful nor forget that it was GOD who provided you the authority in the first place. Always give thanks to the Lord for it is HE who is your provider.

Luke 10:20 – “Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

And that my friends is the ultimate GOOD NEWS! No matter what, we will see our Heavenly Father and Jesus for our very own eyes! This life is only temporary but we will live forever and ever. PRAISE THE LORD!

Look Out, God’s Grace Is With You

His Word Is TrueNo matter who you are, everyone finds themselves going through some tough circumstances and difficult situations in their lives right now. Satan is not a respecter of persons. He loves to attack anyone he feels threatened by and…YOU, YOU CHILD OF GOD are a threatening force to be reckoned with!

Whether you find yourself with an addictive behavior, a frayed relationship, in deep depression, a financial mess, or a huge mixture of them all…I want you to know that GOD’s GRACE IS SUFFICIENT for whatever you are battling. Take a couple of the key people in the Bible for a moment. Job found himself in a terrible mess. He went from being a very rich man with a great family to losing everything he owned. He had absolutely nothing left. In an instant…He lost his home, his family, his flocks, and his wealth. Look at Paul. He was snake bitten. Shipwrecked. Thrown into jail. Stoned. Whipped. And thrown over a cliff being left for dead. He had absolutely nothing left.

At first, they both had an incredible life. They felt like they were on top of the world. They had so much going for them. And then…a major crash came. Everything they knew was gone in an instant. In a blink of an eye. It looked like their situations were so huge and massive, that there was no way they were going to get out of them. Does that sound like your situation? Does your circumstances look like there’s no way out? Are you so overwhelmed that you just can’t see any solutions?

If that sounds like you…take heart because I have TREMENDOUS NEWS FOR YOU!!! GOD’S GRACE IS SUFFICIENT! HE HAS A WAY WHEN THERE ISN’T ONE!

“2 Corinthians 12:8 Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. 9And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.”God is Bigger than problems

No matter what you face, no matter what you find yourself going through, no matter how weak and helpless you might feel…God’s grace is sufficient. See, when we find ourselves in a difficult situation…instead of murmuring or complaining about it; we should THANK GOD FOR HIS ABUNDANCE GRACE! His grace is more than enough to handle the problem. Sure, it may not look like you will get out of the situation but you will have VICTORY! GOD SAYS SO!

Maybe you are just like Job or Paul. Maybe you find yourself broke, busted and disgusted. Maybe you lost everything. Maybe that addiction has such an intense hold that you can’t seem to break free. Well the best thing you can do is PRAISE GOD THAT HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT. Job and Paul ended up being some of the greatest men in the Bible. They knew that God was all they needed. They prayed, they believed and they praised Him no matter what they found themselves going through. Maybe you are down to your last dollar and have bills to pay…PRAISE GOD THAT YOU HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH GRACE TO PAY YOUR BILLS! Maybe people are talking badly about you…PRAISE GOD THAT HIS GRACE OVERCOMES YOUR HATERS. Maybe your marriage is in turmoil…PRAISE GOD THAT HIS GRACE RESTORES MARRIAGES.

I CANThere is absolutely no way you can lose. Sure, it may not look like anything is happening. It may look like you are defeated. It may seem impossible. It may seem like there is absolutely no way you are going to get out of this mess. It may appear that your healing will never come. You might have been holding on for years and nothing seems to be happening in your favor.

But today you can declare…VICTORY THROUGH CHRIST! It’s His grace, His love, His healing, His peace, His restoration that will make sure that you are the VICTOR not the victim, the HEAD and not the tail, ABOVE and not below! You are more than a conqueror through Christ! You will succeed no matter what you face! God promises that all good things come from Christ and that “no weapon formed against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD.” (Isaiah 54:17)

VICTORY IS YOURS!

What’s Love Got To Do With It

As Valentine’s Day comes around, we are bombarded with commercials showing what the world thinks about love. Buy this product and she’ll love you. Or buy that product and she’ll love you. Whether you are single, dating, or married, Valentine’s Day can be overwhelming. Will you get them flowers, candy, teddy bears, or a ring. The world likes to portray love as do this and they’ll do that. You scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours. This isn’t love!

At one point in life or another, most of us have tried to “buy” love or looked for love in all the wrong places. We get excited when we meet someone and we’ll do anything to show them we care. But then slowly it begins to fade and the deep void within begins to grow bigger and you realize that you really aren’t in love. Now, I’m not saying doing or buying nice things is bad. What I’m saying is that if you had a void before love and you still have a void when you are in love then there is something deeper going on and no matter how many gifts you purchase; none of them will be fulfilling.

Most people think that if they find a mate, life will be perfect. Or they think, if only I had more money, I would feel happier. Nothing could be further from the truth. For we can not expect someone or something to make us happy. If we are unhappy with ourselves, then how could they possibly make us happy. It just isn’t possible and we are setting them and ourselves up for failure.

Let’s take a cat or dog, for an example. Say you have been gone all day long. You open the door to find that loving pet excited to see you. Whether they are jumping up and down or jumping into your lap, they trusted you to come home and they are excited to show you how much they love and missed you. It is completely unconditional. They are just happy to see you, without getting anything in return.

Well, that is how God loves us. We can’t earn God’s love nor do we deserve it. He just simply loves us! It is unconditional. (Ephesians 3:14-19)  He doesn’t care if we are short, tall, black, white, brown, overweight, skinny or have pimples. He loves us RIGHT NOW, NO MATTER WHAT!

We can’t truly love until we feel loved ourselves. We need to learn that God loves us. We need to feel that God loves us. We have to have a deep knowing that we are loved and it doesn’t matter what we say or do! Otherwise, we are just spinning our wheels getting no where because no one else could possible fill the void but God!

When we start experiencing this type of love, then and only then, can we possibly begin showing love for others. This kind of love doesn’t depend on if the person deserves our love or not, nor does it depend on what gifts they will give us on Valentine’s Day. We simply realize that God loves us and He loves them too. When you start loving this way, nothing and I do mean nothing can take the place of it. THIS IS TRUE LOVE!

You are a one-of-a-kind person. God made you and sent His Amazing Son to die for you. No one is like you. So why don’t you start seeing just how special you truly are and that God loves you no matter what. Once you do, you’ll begin to experience the most incredible, amazing, loving relationships that you desperately crave! And the best part is you won’t have to go looking for it. God will bring it to you at the right place, at the right time, and at the perfect moment! It will be simply PERFECT!
