Being bombarded by negative thoughts and doubts; leading us into stress and worry. We think it sounds great in the Bible yet we doubt that it could happen in our lives today. However, God is not a respecter of persons. (Acts 10:34)

God of Hope

Calm the StormAround the world, believers are facing some of the most difficult times they have ever encountered. They are struggling through adversity from every angle. Physically, financially, spiritually, mentally and emotionally shaken to their very core. It has been the worst of times for most. Yet through it all, they have reasons to dig their heels in and hold on for dear life; knowing that the stormy seas can’t last forever.

The devil knows that his time is almost up. He is doing everything in his power to make you give up. He wants to make sure that you don’t make it to the other side. He doesn’t want you to see your victory, your healing or your prosperity. He knows that if he can make you change your course, then he can put some distance between you and your God-given future. But, the devil is a liar! (John 8:44)

don't give up1God has seen you holding on for dear life. He has seen the storms raging against you. He has seen every tear shed and heard every word you’ve spoken. He knows that you are at the end of your rope. Yet, God also knows that through all of your pain and suffering, there is light at the end of the tunnel. The devil has had his time and the bell is ringing to its end. God is about to reverse the curse in your life and make such an impact; that every single one of your enemies will flee.

There is an old saying, “don’t get your hopes up”. Well, that too is a lie.

Our God is the God of hope. He wishes to fill you with such joy and peace that the Holy Spirit will be overflowing with hope. (Romans 15:13) But God doesn’t stop there. He says “your hope will never leave you ashamed.” (Romans 5:5)

So, expect the unexpected. Expect God’s promises to come to pass in your life today. Hope beyond fear. Fill your mind with God’s goodness and love. For when God’s mighty hand comes upon your life, you will be standing tall. Your testimony will be so great, people will want to know what has happened. They will want to know how your life suddenly changed.

Keep embracing HOPE. Keep dreaming BIG dreams.

You are about to encounter God’s goodness like never before!

It’s Not Too Late

LiftedIf you’re like most, we tend to wait until we are in the deepest, darkest pits of our lives before we cry out to God. It’s in these moments that we have exhausted all our efforts and don’t see a way out. Whether it’s years of pain and suffering that has brought us to this place or an unforeseen tragedy; we all go through difficulties within our lives that can take the very breath from us; leaving us feeling desperate and alone.

It is in times like these that we need to reassess our lives. We may not understand why things happen or what we could have possibly done to deserve the terrible experience, but we all seek the answers that are not always readily available. We all face an unseen adversary. It’s not that we deserve anything bad to happen nor have we’ve done anything to deserve it; it is simply the adversary trying to keep you in a deep, dark pit and overwhelmed. The adversary wants to keep you exactly where you are, feeling low and in despair.

When we find ourselves in these moments, the absolute best thing we could do is cry out to God for help. He wants to heal our pain and suffering. He wants to prosper us. He wants to restore the time lost. He wants to restore failed relationships. He wants to restore all the lost opportunities.

God is an all-seeing, all-knowing Father who has the answer to all of our problems. Don’t waste another moment by allowing the adversary to keep you down and out. Speak up and let your voice be heard by the one and only Creator, who wants to heal you completely; physically, mentally, spiritually, financially, and make you whole while filling you with such incredible peace in the midst of your storm. So, don’t waste another moment. Cry out to God for your healing and restoration. It’s never too late because He’s waiting to hear from you, His beloved child. Cry out and watch His amazing, incredible, and miraculous solutions come upon you. For you are never alone, He promises to always be there.

Your “Ah Ha” Moment Awaits

Ah HA Moment3Have you ever experienced an “Ah Ha” moment? An “Ah Ha” moment is one of those times where you have been praying hard, asking God for help, standing on His word and it simply doesn’t seem like anything is moving in your direction. But then, out of the blue, you receive a revelation or a direction that you’ve never had before. One of those “Ah Ha” moments that you have no idea where it came from but you know that you know it is an answer to what you’ve been seeking.

My mom has been battling Stage 4 Colon Cancer over the past 4 years. One doctor’s appointment can easily turn into 3 or more. We have had days where one appointment has turned into an all day affair only to end up sitting in a hospital being told that you will be staying for an unexpected extended visit. It has been an exhausting process that anyone with this debilitating disease or any disease like it can relate. The tears, the sad news, the awful results and in our case, the staring at not one but two death notices. It has been a living nightmare, not only to my mom who has had to constantly depend on God’s strength just to get up each morning, but to all of us who love her so deeply yet there’s nothing we can do to help…BUT PRAY!!!!

I have heard so many people say “well, all we can do is pray”. Well guess what…praying is and should always be the first line of defense. God created each one of us, unique in His own image. He knows our bodies, our families, our wants, our needs and knows exactly the how, when and where to provide His help. Even through our hardest times, my mom and I continuously pray, thank and praise the Lord because He has already miraculously pulled her from death on two separate occasions.

During this morning’s prayer time, I found myself begging God for His help with tears streaming down my face; not just for mom’s healing but in numerous areas for my family. Now I normally don’t find myself begging or tearing up, but this morning was very different. I encountered an “Ah Ha” moment.

Over the course of the past few months, my mom and I would be “moved” to take communion unexpectedly. Nothing regularly, just God saying to us “do it, right now” and we would faithfully partake. It never failed to help whatever we were about to encounter unexpectedly. However, even though I know I should take communion every day…it hasn’t become something practiced regularly. Yet this morning was quite different. Unexpectedly I knew that I knew…God wanted us to start taking communion every day. It was an “Ah Ha” moment that said if we walk out in faith and listen, He promises to move mightily.

The purpose of this writing is that God overwhelmingly wanted you to know that when we are willing to take a step of faith (listening with our hearts and not our heads); whether it’s taking communion, spending more time with God quietly, tithing to a worthy cause, helping our neighbor with a project or anything else you are “moved” to do; God is seeking to move mightily and unexpected in your life. The “Ah Ha” moment comes when you least expect it, in the craziest of ways and with a peace that is so profound that it can only be from God!Ah Ha Moment2

Let today be your reminder to stop, drop and listen to whatever God is “moving” you to do. It doesn’t have to be a big deal. It doesn’t have to break the bank. It doesn’t have to be a world-changing event…but whatever He is “moving” you to do, you can bet your bottom dollar that it holds the answer you seek!

God knows what you’re going through and He has the answer! Pray up, Listen Up and then Be Still! For His answer will move you unexpectedly and your life will never be the same!
