Winning the Battle

StrugglesHave you noticed that the people of the world don’t seem to be going through as many struggles as believers are?  Right now, problems are plaguing the children of God.  Physically, spiritually, financially, emotionally; every day appears to be worse than before.  Have you ever stopped to wonder why?

There is a huge battle going on in the spiritual realm.  If people are following the “world’s” way, they are not considered a threat.  However, if they believe in Christ, they are considered a huge, terrible threat.

Our battles are not of this world.  We are told in II Corinthians 10:3-4: “For though we walk in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons.  For the weapons of our warfare are not physical, but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds.”

Satan carefully strategizes and is trying to get you to waiver.  He is doing everything he can to make you think wrong thoughts and not believe who you are in Christ.  Satan is very good in setting up strongholds every chance he gets; cunningly deceiving all of those who will listen to his lies.  He doesn’t want you realizing that YOU ARE MORE THAN A CONQUERER!

That is why we must always be on guard.  Every time a thought comes into your mind, you need to ask yourself if it lines up with God’s word or not.  If it doesn’t, dismiss it immediately.  Then, find a scripture that contradicts the thought, in order to put your mind back in alignment with God’s word.  This will help build your confidence, your faith, and help you stand tall against all of the adversity.

God will provide

You are a threat to Satan.  He knows his time is short and he needs to get every one of us going down the wrong path.  The more he can throw at us, the more we start doubting our calling and who we are.  Don’t let Satan dim your light!  You are a CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH GOD.  Peace, love, joy, and victory are yours for the taking!

Expect the Unexpected

When life is throwing you curve balls and it seems like you are striking out, then, lift your head because you have the Faithmost incredible God there is!  He wants you to know that He sees all of the struggles you are going through.  He sees all the addictions that have a hold of you.  He knows what dreams He placed inside of you.  And He is here telling you….EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!

  • When there doesn’t appear to be a way…He has a way!
  • When nothing seems to be going right…He knows what doors to open!
  • When you have no idea how you are going to pay your bills…He knows how to get the funds to you!
  • When you need a job, filled with your passions…He knows the right place and the right time to bring it to you!
  • When you need a miraculous solution…He already has it coming to you!
  • When you need healing…He is the Master Physician!

It doesn’t matter what we see in the natural.  WE HAVE A SUPERNATURAL GOD that LOVES US VERY MUCH!  Grasp that knowledge and hold on tight.  Believe in Him for He has your answers, your provisions, your healing and everything else you need! (Luke 1:37)  HE IS THE GREAT I AM!  (Exodus 3:14) Everything we need and so much more than we could ever imagine.

So, no matter what you are facing today…your tomorrow looks incredibly great!  He will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5)…so look up and know that your answer is already on its way!

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!  HE WILL BLOW YOU AWAY with His goodness, His love, His provision, His healing and His protection!  Receive and believe for He has your need already answered!  We serve a HUGE GOD (Psalm 147:5) that is more powerful, more loving and more amazing than we could ever imagine. Expect the Unexpected!

Bye Bye Struggles

End of your ropeAs we go through our daily lives, we tend to look at what “WE” should do.  I should do this…I should do that.  I should pray more.  I should tithe more.  I should read the Bible more.  I should have helped more.  I shouldn’t have watched that show.  I shouldn’t have lost my temper.  I shouldn’t have had that nasty thought.  And so on, and so on, and so on.

Satan loves to keep us in this type of mindset.  Every time something goes wrong, he loves to make us look at what we should or should not have done.  Making us feel bad, stressed, or worried.

However, what we need to realize is that God does not see us when He looks from Heaven.  He sees Jesus.  I John 4:17 “…because as He is, so are we in this world.”

When you accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, you accepted Jesus as your substitute.  It is no longer YOUR effort but HIS.  God wants you to understand that you are IN CHRIST JESUS!  That means every single time you see yourself lacking, look to Jesus and His finished work.

We can’t earn God’s love or blessings…we already have them.  We can not do more because Jesus already did.  Everything that comes against us, Jesus already conquered.  All we need to do is rest in His finished work because Jesus lives within us.

  • When a sickness is attacking you, See Jesus.
  • When your finances are depleting, See Jesus.
  • When you are struggling with addictions, See Jesus.
  • When you need a miraculous solution, See Jesus.

So, let’s stop struggling and blaming ourselves today.  Instead, let’s be more like David in the Psalms when He prayed “Look upon your anointed one (Jesus) and bless me”.  It is by embracing Jesus and resting in His finished work, our answers lie.  You may not be able to see or touch your solution yet.  But, HE is your answer.  Nothing that comes against you will prosper.

Be A Doubt Buster Today

Breaking ChainesEver find yourself saying “I doubt that could happen” or “my circumstances will never change” or “it’s just the way it is”?

We all go through long periods in our lives when nothing seems to be going right. Whether you got a bad report from the doctor or you can’t pay your bills. Maybe your family is in strife or you can’t find a job. Maybe your body is being attacked.

Whatever you find yourself going through, it’s easy to think on the problem and complain about it constantly. Worse yet, if it’s been a long time with the same problem or many problems all at once, you can find yourself saying I guess I just need to get used to it and you accept defeat.

No! There are two ways to live our lives. One in the “doubting Thomas” mindset or one in the “all things are possible to those who believe” mindset. When we doubt, we are being double minded. God said he gave us the power to choose life or death; therefore choose life. (Deuteronomy 30:19-20) He also has made it quite clear that when we doubt, we are setting ourselves up for failure.

James 1:6-7: “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord.”

God makes it quite clear that if we doubt than we should not expect anything from Him. Basically when we doubt, we are telling God that our problems are larger than He is. How do you think that must make God feel when He created everything thing in the world, including us?

So you must be wondering, now what can I do? We must become more childlike where we stop analyzing everything to death. Every time a doubting thought comes into your mind, immediately replace it with God’s word!

  • When you have a thought that the pain will never go away…say “by His stripes I am healed!
  • When you think my circumstances will never change…say “I am more than a conqueror through Christ!”
  • When your finances dry up and you have no way to pay the bills…say “My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches and glory!”

Feed Your Faith

No matter what you see or feel, God knows every single piece of hair on your head. He counts your tears. There is absolutely nothing too hard for Him.

It may be taking longer than you would like and you are finding yourself frustrated; it’s okay…God completely understands. Ask Him for His forgiveness. AND FROM THIS DAY FORWARD…choose life and life more abundantly over every doubt, over every fear, over every pain. For God can not lie and all His promises will come to pass in your life if you will hold on tight and push the doubt away.

Let’s all become Doubt Busters today! You are not staying where you are right now…you have a tremendous life ahead of you and nothing, and I do mean nothing, can hold God’s promises back from being completed in your life! Stay in faith and know that everything will be alright!
