Imagine the Scene

Jesus had caused the lame to walk, the deaf to hear, and the mute to speak. He had taught with authority unlike any teachers of the day and performed miracles that astounded all who witnessed them.

Yet the Savior of the world was hung on a cross, deserted by His followers, and then buried in a tomb.

But there’s more to the story. Three days later, a resurrection took place. Now, the head that was crowned with thorns is crowned with glory.

Let this perspective sink into your heart today…THERE’S MORE TO YOUR STORY.

No matter the past disappointment, present difficulty, or discouraging forecast: Your story is still being written… and the hand of God is holding the pen.

But the fact that God is writing the story doesn’t mean you don’t have a part to play. You need to stand on His word, hold onto your faith, let God be your source and remember, what you’ve been through may be difficult, but God will work it out for your good. Don’t give up now. There is more to your story.

“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” (Romans 8:18)

The scene you’re in today might be disappointing, but you don’t have to let it be the defining factor of your story. God has more in store for you and your next chapter is being written. Continue to stand in faith and watch God’s incredible story for you unfold into something amazing!

Mirror Reflection

Mirror ReflectionHave you ever wondered why you are made with the personality and looks that you have? I think we all do from time to time; and worse, in today’s society, we tend to want to look like someone else such as an actor, actress, model, singer, or your next door neighbor. It’s always easy to compare ourselves only to come up with a list of things we would like to change. Whether it’s losing weight, smaller noses, better features, smaller waist, muscular, etc, etc, etc. and even if we were able to change those things, we still wouldn’t be satisfied as we can easily find something else we don’t like about ourselves.

But, guess what? I have great news for you today!

Instead of thinking about the things you would like to change, see yourself as a MASTERPIECE! God made you exactly the way you are and when you accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, something amazing happened…the Holy Spirit came to live within you. So, when God looks upon you, He doesn’t see what you see; He sees you as perfect in His image and in His sight.

Genesis 1:27: “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female, He created them.”
Psalm 139:13-16: “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”

Boy, doesn’t that change your perspective a lot? See, when we start thinking in this manner, our lives quickly change. We aren’t striving to be different or unique because we already are!

Mirror Reflection 2

It’s okay if you feel you’d like to change something about yourself. Just pray about it and release it. If God feels the change is necessary then the Holy Spirit will guide you to make those changes when the time is right. Just don’t fret over it. Instead, enjoy your life and look in the mirror knowing that you are BEAUTIFUL, UNIQUE, and A MASTERPIECE!

God loves you this very moment and thinks you are WONDERFUL! Since God sees Jesus when He sees us; He is completely satisfied with us. We have His favor, His love, and His miraculous solutions chasing us down. There is absolutely nothing we need to do except see ourselves as God sees us. He made us, He knows us, and He loves us. There is nothing missing, nothing broken and nothing lacking! So, look in the mirror today and praise God for who you are.

You Are More Than A Conqueror

Jesus shed His blood in seven different places to break every curse and redeem us to every blessing His blood activates. It is a time to remember exactly what Jesus did for each and every one of us. He paid the ultimate sacrifice. He broke every curse. He broke every addiction. He gave us dominion and authority.

  1. In the Garden of Gesthemane: He bought back our willpower and to redeem our will. (Matthew 26:39)
  2. At the Whipping Post: By His stripes we are healed. Every curse of sickness and disease was broken. (1Peter 2:24)
  3. Crown of Thorns: To break the curse of poverty. (Genesis 3:17-18)
  4. In His hands: To restore dominion to the works of our hands. (Deut. 28:12-13)
  5. In His feet: To give us authority everywhere we walk. (Joshua 1:3)
  6. In His side: His was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities and heals our broken hearts. (Luke 4:18)
  7. He stomped on the devil’s forehead and bruised His heel to break every family and generational curse. (Isaiah 53:5)

Take back your God-given blessings that Jesus gave us. When He said “IT IS FINISHED”, he didn’t mean it would be a hit or miss, pie-in-the-sky kind of faith. He returned us to the Father who is there for us every single moment of every day. He gave us everything we needed to make it through any trial, any difficulty, and any situation that comes against us that is contrary to the Word of God!

Take your stand against the enemy. You are more than conqueror through the Blood of Jesus. You are the head and not the tail, above and not below, you are the lender not the borrower. Take back what the devil has stolen and remind him that Jesus’ blood gives you complete victory.

Don’t let another day go by without thanking Jesus for His sacrifice and for the heavenly blessings He has bestowed towards you. Return unto Him and he’ll return unto you. Give and it shall be given to you. Know the seven places Jesus shed His blood and understand why God’s Word is Final! It is because of Jesus that you will have favor with Him and with man. Praise His Name above all others and watch the amazing blessings burst forth into your life.

Today is a new day. Activate the 7 places Jesus shed His blood and He will bring favor upon you. Let God stand in front of you and your family to make every curse pass over your home, business, health, family, and finances. Almighty God will open the windows of Heaven over you and your family which will release the blessings that Jesus’ blood provides. You are more than a conqueror through the Blood of Jesus Christ and today, your life will never be the same. Rejoice for the Lord is good – Your Victory Is At Hand!

When It Just Doesn’t Make Sense

“On the seventh day, they got up at daybreak and marched around the city seven times in the same manner, except that on that day they circled the city seven times. The seventh time around, when the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the army, ‘Shout! For the LORD has given you the city!'” (Joshua 6:15-16)

As Joshua rounded the walls for the seventh time on the seventh day, it’s hard to imagine the nervousness he felt — and perhaps even the confusion. He had spent seven days walking around a city wall leading an entire nation of people. And if that wasn’t enough, the final instructions for obtaining victory was for his people to blow trumpets and give a loud shout.

Why did they have to walk around a city wall? Why seven laps? Why seven days? And how was shouting supposed to cause a structurally sound wall to collapse?

A lot of it didn’t make sense, but when it comes to faith — that isn’t that unusual. In fact, rarely are the instructions of faith perfectly logical and comfortable.

Faith will tell you to have patience when everything else is telling you to panic.
Faith will tell you to hold on when everything else is telling you to let go.
Faith will tell you to push forward when everything else is telling you to pull back.

You may not be facing a monstrous wall like Joshua was, but you are facing something. And even if the way forward doesn’t make sense, the good news is it doesn’t have to. Having faith isn’t about making sense; it’s about moving forward, no matter what.

God will break every curse, every sickness, every lack, and everything that is coming against you. Shout for joy and keep moving forward no matter what. God will provide you the victory!
