Be Set Free

Did you know that God wants you delivered, restored, healthy, whole and prospering in every area of your life? Then why aren’t most of us walking in His amazing promises and health?

Short answer…we live in a fallen world. It’s full of demonic activity and sin. Just scroll through the tv programs or watch a small bit of news and you can easily see it’s being portrayed continuously. We’re bombarded every single day with good is wrong and evil is good. We live in a very perverse generation that fills itself with lusts, corruption, porn, the love of money, fame, fortune, addictions and many other things that take us away from our Heavenly Father’s “good measure, pressed down, and running over” promises.

But it goes much deeper than that. Our past family generations (who we may or may not know) could have been into things that are affecting our lives today.

Numbers 14:18 “The Lord is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, to the third and the fourth generation.”

But the good news…Today is your day to be set free. Over the course of the next few weeks, I’ll be placing prayers for you to speak out loud and take authority over everything coming against you. I’m standing in agreement with you for God’s mighty hand through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior to come quickly and break every curse that is hindering your progress.

God wants you well and living a life filled with love, peace, joy, abundance, health and restoration. Don’t let another day go by without taking your authority back. May God’s peace fill your whole being today and forever more; giving Him all the glory as you walk into His destiny for your life.

Short Prayer – “Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. You redeemed me by your blood and I belong to you, and I want to live for you. I confess all my sins–known and unknown–I’m sorry for them all. I renounce them all. I forgive all others as I want you to forgive me. Forgive me now and cleanse me with your blood. I thank you for the blood of Jesus Christ which cleanses me now from all sin. And I come to you now as my deliverer. You know my special needs–the thing that binds, that torments, that defiles; that evil spirit, that unclean spirit–I claim the promise of your word, ‘Whosoever that calleth on the name of the Lord shall be delivered.’ I call upon you now. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, deliver me and set me free. Satan, I renounce you and all your works. I loose myself from you, in the name of Jesus, and I command you to leave me right now in Jesus’ mighty name. Praise the Lord, Amen!”

Solid Rock

We sure can give the devil alot of air time. When anything happens that we don’t like, we quickly say the devil did it. The devil gave me a flat tire, the devil gave me the flu, the devil made that person treat me badly or walk away.

What if it was God who made it happen? Now I know what you must be thinking…
“God would never do such a thing.”
“God would never allow something bad to happen.”
“God would never allow someone to treat us wrong or walk away.”

But guess what, His word says He does.
Haggai 1:9 “You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?” declares the Lord Almighty. “Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with your own house.”

God allows certain things to happen in our lives so we won’t blow it. It’s not to punish you or get back at you…it’s to protect you. If He allows us to depend on ourselves or others, we can easily get too attached to it and forget that He is our source.

He created us. He breathed life into us. He gave us our gifts. He gave us our professions. He gave us family. He gave us friends. He gave us the funds. He owns it all but He has freely given to us and we need to make sure we keep our eyes fixed on Him and not our things.

When God sees us building our house on sinking sand and not His strong foundation, He might step in to rattle our lives a bit to help us refocus and return to Him. He would rather see us go through a season of frustration than to build our lives on the wrong foundation. That’s how awesome and loving our Father is!

He wants each of us to be significant and sometimes the only way to do that is shake us up a bit to get us back onto the right path. Don’t let the would of, could of, should of, fixing too thoughts wane you from God. We all have plans in motion and the plan might be God’s plan for our lives. But if we take our focus off Him and start believing in ourselves, the plan, our works, our friends/family, our money or anything else more than God Himself, then you can definitely expect a shake up to come.

Don’t forget who is the plan master, the provider, the distributor and the opportunity maker. Build your house on His strong foundation; making Him your first priority every single day and in everything you do, then you don’t have to worry, stress or fear about what the day brings.

Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

Be You

Everyone of us has a purpose in the Kingdom of God. Whether you are called to be a teacher, writer, preacher, a bible study host, singer, scientist, doctor, janitor, a stay-at-home parent, an encourager, someone who smiles, or anything in between, we are all called according to His purpose. We may not know exactly what our calling is but we can rest assured that when God calls upon us, He will have already equipped us to become that special person for the Kingdom.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,
plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Each one of us is uniquely made. We are to be special and not like each other. Every single one of us are to become the person God wants us to be. Then together, we all uniquely fit into God’s bigger picture.

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus
to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Just because we see someone excelling doesn’t mean we need to try to be like them. We were never to be like someone else. God has given you a special calling and a creative talent that no one else has. When we try to be like someone else, we are actually attempting to be something we are not called to be which only leads to failure and frustration.

Our purpose is the very meaning of our existence and a distinct impact on the world around us. It’s very easy to look at others and think they have what you want, they are making a difference when you feel you don’t, they have a life you would like, they look how you wish you looked, and the list goes on. Never feel like your life doesn’t matter because it does. Say it with me, “MY LIFE MATTERS!”

Whether you realize it or not, your life is making an impact. People are always comparing themselves and watching from a distance. How you react to situations, what you say, how you say it, what you do…all these things impact those around you. Each one of us have a meaningful mission in life. Be yourself and let God’s mighty hand work within you. Be your unique you. There is no other person like you. There is no other person who can do the special mission God has just for you. Reach out and know your maker. He will guide you, help you and lead you on the path only you can take.

Be strong and press on. God’s plans and ways are higher than we can ever imagine. Everything you have gone through will not go to waste. Your testimony of God’s goodness, favor, restoration and healing power just might be the very thing that touches someone’s life and lead them to the one and only true God. As it is written in Ecclesiastes 3:1 “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” Don’t give up now, you are closer to your breakthrough than you think. The smallest acts of kindness can make a huge impact. YOU ARE SPECIAL AND YOUR LIFE MATTERS!

Smack Em’ Down

Every day we are bombarded with thoughts. They can be either positive or negative. When we find ourselves drained of energy or circling the same issues over and over again, we are focusing on the wrong side of the equation and leaving God out of it.

We live in a fallen world tainted by sin, lust, evil, sickness, disease, anger and greed. The world wants what others have. They want their cake and eat it too. And many are willing to do whatever it takes to acquire success or fame.

Those of us in Christ need to focus on Him and Him alone. He is always with us whether we see Him or not. He is always fighting our battles even when we don’t see the circumstances change. When we get anxious or fearful it’s usually because our focus is on our wants and needs; on future things. But today is a gift. A gift from our Heavenly Father. It’s a day where we get to worship Him while unwrapping the day He’s giving us. Each day we get to see it unfold into something new.

See Him in every situation and every moment. It might be a bird, a song, a smile, a person or an unexpected present. Whatever God places into your life today, see the little things in a new light. His light!

Be focused today. Smack down the negative thoughts and keep your focus on Him. He has an amazing future for you and each day that unfolds will become more amazing when you see the little gifts along the way. He has you covered and you’re never alone. He will fulfill all your needs and desires. Keep believing and you will become all God wishes you to become, in His perfect way and His perfect timing!
