It’s Time

analog-clock-faceWe are coming into an amazing timeframe on God’s calendar. In March, Purim is celebrated. It’s a time where God was never even mentioned in the Book of Esther. Yet it’s filled with many nuggets of great encouragement, preparation, and sudden transformation. It appeared God was silent and was preparing Esther for something great, even though she had no idea what was going to happen.

The Jews were about to be killed as evil appeared to be winning. The whole Jewish nation hung on Esther’s shoulders. She had no idea what to do. She had no idea God called her for this specific time to save an entire nation. It was a very difficult time filled with hostility, uncertainty, and evil.

Esther should not have even been a candidate under the natural circumstances of that time. She was an orphan and a Jew. People like her would have been looked down upon, not given the opportunity of being a queen.

It appeared all was lost. There was no hope left. God was silent. And yet against all odds, Esther was willing to go against protocols with the possibility of death. She was willing to lay her life on the line while holding onto her faith. She was willing to believe God was working behind the scenes even though she couldn’t see or feel it.

Because she was willing to do what it took and was willing to step out in faith, she found favor with God. He supernaturally worked in her life. She ended up saving a nation, being queen, and found deep love with her king. Not to mention that she now had her “more than enough” as queen. Her turnaround came. Her life was suddenly changed. She was given supernatural favor. Favor with her people, with the King, and in life as a whole.

The book of Esther is a very short book in the Bible but is filled with such supernatural wonder, that it’s definitely worth the read. It will give you amazing encouragement through the trials of your own life.

My question for you today is…What has God called you to do? Do you find yourself wondering how to turn things around? Have you found yourself in an impossible situation?

You may not know what God has called you for. You may not understand why the difficulties are happening. You may not understand why God seems silent. You may feel like you’re only one person and wondering how you could possibly make a difference. But if you stay in faith and continue to prepare yourself during this amazing season, God will supernaturally intervene. He knows what you need and when to make it happen. He knows what He called you to do and how to make it come to pass. Be strong and courageous like Esther…and SEE WHAT GOD WILL DO! It will be far greater than you could ever imagine! When God’s supernatural touches your circumstances, everything will fall into place and be more incredible than you ever dreamed.

This is a time for great preparation, sudden favor, and your complete turnaround. Read the Book of Esther and understand what time it is. Even though things might look bleak or you have no idea what to do or you don’t have the funds to make things happen…cry out to God even though He may be silent. One small touch is all it takes. It’s time to hold fast to His word and know that it will not return void. Your sudden turnaround is here. Grab hold and let God be God. His perfect timing is upon you. You’re not enough is about to become more than enough! Look up for your new beginnings are here!

Expect The Best

positive1James 1:6: “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.”

During a recent conversation, someone mentioned the old classic saying “expect the worst and hope for the best”. Do you ever find yourself thinking that way too?

Now I completely understand why people like to use this phrase because it helps them make sure they have numerous plans if something starts faltering in unexpected ways. But I still really dislike the statement because I feel it goes against everything us Christians stand for and really places us out of God’s alignment. Here’s why…

When you’re planning for the worse to happen, it places you in a very difficult situation. Planning contingencies is going to make your faith waver because you have already put it in your mind that something is going to go wrong. Expectation is a form of your faith. So by placing the thought that something is going to go haywire or terribly wrong, then that is exactly what’s going to happen and you’ll put more time and effort into making backup plans than holding on to God’s word that everything will work out by His love and grace.

Fear and doubt will always creep in when you are believing for something amazing to happen in your life. You will have to choose if you will allow the fear and doubt to mull through your mind or to believe that God wants the best for you and He will make it happen.

There’s never a day that goes by when some fleck of doubt won’t try to bombard your thoughts. There’s never a day that goes by when fear won’t try to take hold. Don’t let it toss you like a wave of the sea. Instead, rebuke the fear and doubt and put it in it’s rightful place…in Jesus’ hands. That’s why we are told that no weapon formed against us will prosper. (Isaiah 54:17)

Don’t let the enemy get the best of you. Keep standing on God’s word. Keep holding onto your faith. For when you do, God’s supernatural will touch your natural and only good things will happen for you and your family. Don’t let another day go by before you learn to hold to the truth and let it set you free! God is always ready, willing, and able. Let Him be your source and know that everything will be alright!

Romans 15:13: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

How long has your dry season been?wilted-flower

  • A month?
  • A year?
  • 10 years?
  • 25 years?
  • 50 years?

You’ve tried hard to make things happen only to find yourself trying even harder because nothing is changing and you seem stuck in the rut.

“As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eate, so is my word that goes out from my mouth, it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it You will go out in joy and be lead forth in peace: the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.” (Isaiah 55:10-12)

Well my friends, 2017 is going to be an amazing year for you. You’ve done all that you could. You’ve tried everything you could try. You’ve prayed asking for help. All the words and prayers you’ve said have been spoken and they will not return void. The skies are heavy with God’s blessings and it’s about to be poured into your life like never before.

“Flowers appear on earth, the season of singing has come.” (Solomon 11:3)

You’ve remained rooted to your source. You’ve continued to nourish your soul and your rewards are going to be beyond your wildest imagination. It’s time for you to visualize far greater than you’ve dared before. It’s time for you to get ready for your blooming has arrived. That business you wanted to start, it’s time. That promotion you wanted, it’s time. That mission trip you wanted to take, it’s time. Whatever God has laid on your heart is about to come into a full bloom. Look up, pray up and thank up. God is about to do something so unexpected in your life that there is one and only one answer for the blessing. God!!!

Jolt Yourself

big-teeth-smiley-emoticonWhen things aren’t going your way, then kindly (and gently) slap yourself to wake up and get your attitude back. Say what?!?!?!?!?

Well, I bet I got your attention didn’t I. LOL

Okay, Okay…all kidding aside. What I really mean is sometimes we just need to WAKE UP and JOLT OURSELVES out of the day to day slumber, the stagnation, the chaos and really start prophesying to our lives.

It’s time for new beginnings. You’ve gone through enough and the past is just that…the past! It’s time to get up, brush off and take back what’s been stolen! How do you do that, you might be asking? Great question!

wakeup3_speak-life

Place yourself in front of a mirror and declare God’s word over your life. Say or yell (if you feel the need)…

  • I’m Going To Live and Not Die.
  • I’m going to share the good works of the Lord.
  • Today I choose Life and Life more abundantly.
  • It’s He who lives in me, is greater than he who is in this world.
  • I will have peace that surpasses all understanding.
  • I have more than enough to spare and share.
  • Today is my day for my turnaround.
  • Today is my day for complete restoration and healing.
  • Today I give my illnesses and addictions an eviction notice as they are trespassing on God’s territory.
  • Today, God is healing my broken heart and replacing sadness with unspeakable joy.
  • God is the Author and Finisher in my life. Whatever He started, He will accomplish through me.
  • I’m more than a conqueror.
  • For me and my house will serve the Lord. All of those lost shall come back to Him.
  • I’m blessed in the city and blessed in the field. God’s favor is exploding in my life.

It’s too easy to get placated in our lives and just continue going with the flow; becoming stagnant along the way. It’s time to jolt ourselves out of the “norm”. You are created for so much more! You are to be the light of the world! And the more you speak to your circumstances with God’s word, the more you’ll find situations turning around in your favor.

The question is…what do you want your 2017 to look like? Do you want to keep going around the same mulberry bush and keep getting the same results…OR…would you rather let God be God and shower you with His amazing grace? Ask yourself…if not today, when? If not you, who? If God is going to bless someone, why not let it be you?

Why don’t you start out 2017 doing things GOD’S WAY and let this year be the greatest year you’ve ever experienced. Talk yourself silly with God’s word. One small touch from God is all it takes! Will you dare to believe that Today is the beginning of your miraculous turnaround?
